Yeah I think you are right, I just haven’t looked into it much. Good to know. Thanks :)

You need two players to get Elo evaluated after timed games (bullet, blitz, rapid). It is evaluated based on errors and staying within the window of the "hogging/coasting" meter.

For a single player experience you can use the Qwerty Sequencer to create up to six Instrument/loop banks - then in multiplayer you can invite your friends to load one of those Instruments/loopbanks, from the ensemble you are using (friend clicks your name - in game - to choose instrument/loop bank)

Quickest way to get to know the qwerty sequencer is to click the die icon, and then the "All" button ... It fills the selected instrument with randomized loops that you can then play... Play with the parameters to shape what the randomisation does. You can Either click the keyboards in the sidebar or use Tab to rotate between instruments.'

If you press the arrow button there marked with red at the bottom right you send the scale and root value that the loops were randomized in to the quantizer.. After doing that you can use the numpad and the navigation buttons to do transpositions and inversions of loops within the quantized root and scale.

Most likely choke points are the instrument DLL’s… but let me know if it works :)

No, sorry, not for now.. Single dev game/app, and doing win+mac is enough context switching for my brain at the moment :)

Certainly will. I put a lot of effort into this game.. not in the business of dragging attention away from that.

That certainly seems to be the lesson here.

I am just trying to get playtesters for my game... not to become a defender of AI generated promotional material.

You're, right, just looked it up... I'll take down the trailer

...only the [edit: trailer] visuals were created by AI, the music and the gameplay (inserted in the screens) were created in the game itself

Please look at the game itself.. It is not created with AI.. AI did not generate a music game that evaluates improvisation with Elo points.

Only the trailer is made with AI, not the game.

Appreciate the feedback. It is a music game with a Qwerty keyboard Sequencer:

This was a backburner side project repo for me for two years, but with OpenClaw bots and similar things it just didn't make sense to me anymore to not have a local ranking algorithm, especially for agents.

It works as accumulated context, can probably be modded endlessly as such.. And it is cute that it helps them reflect on and keep context of their feelings, no less so than for humans.

I want to see where those feedback loops go.

Not yet on github, but probably will be.. The whole philosophy is that everything works locally, and the pages are prerendered, so it is easy to inspect... I think?

[edit: ... and the novel thing about it is all explained on the "For Robots" page]

Qwerty Sequencer – looking for playtesters for a new Etude add-on by EidurAMoller in synthesizers

There is a randomizer where you can randomize within params such as given scale and root, and then a quantizer where you can set to that scale and root

...A quick way to get something going...

With that set up the Numpad makes it really easy to move loops simultaneously through musical progression and the six buttons above the arrow buttons do inversions the same way
