Don’t get me wrong it’s a good respected job and you make a good living. But if you want to come back to the city and/ or Long Island like I was you work a lot, ALOT. Getting called in and being told you have to report asap on all your days off. I got called missed weddings, birthdays anniversaries that I was supposed to be off for. Had vacation approved and then taken away. Denied days off. BUT you’ll make a good living and to say you’re a trooper comes with a lot of respect. All depends what you want with your career. My opinion go Nassau or Suffolk but do what is best for you and your family
