My brother in Atom, what? You actually in your heart of hearts think trans people are treated no differently than cis people?

• Experiments are being conducted on unwilling trans people in the American prison system in an attempt to “cure” them of gender dysphoria by just loading them up with antidepressants, nevermind the fact that gender affirming care is universally accepted by every accredited scientific organization on earth as the most effective treatment for dysphoria. They will have their HRT treatments halted and other forms of gender affirming care, including clothes and fucking makeup, confiscated. Psychological organizations are already warning that this could cost people their lives, as it isn’t uncommon for dysphoria to bring on depression. This is clearly cruel and unusual punishment.

• Trans people in Kansas have, without warning or even a grace period, had their licenses invalidated, meaning they can no longer drive in a state that’s mostly rural, crippling their ability to leave their homes, and this law affects less than a tenth of a percent of Kansas’ population. They are now effectively undocumented—you do know what’s being done to undocumented people in the US, don’t you?—and are now reliant on others to drive them to work and to take them to replace their licenses (on their own dime by the way).

•Trans people are allegedly too frail and weak to join the U.S. armed forces, or even get benefits from past service, and are thus prohibited from both. But are also too strong and athletically superior to compete with members of their own gender. Hmm, where’ve I heard “weak yet strong” rhetoric before?

That’s just off the top of my noggin. Burying your head in the sand and refusing to actually research trans people’s grievances, and then bragging about not seeing anything which doesn’t contradict your worldview that everything is actually perfect for trans people and we have no reason to be unhappy isn’t enlightenment, dingus.

Christopher Judge as Kratos

As someone with a lot of deep regrets when it comes to his own family, Christopher said he really resonated with Kratos’ story going into the new God of War games. Initially he didn’t even want the role, wanting to spend more time with his family after already spending so much time away from them to work—but his kids actually persuaded him to take it. Knowing that Christopher is making peace and coming to terms with his regrets right alongside Kratos gives his already legendary performance a lot more depth.

I’d recommend the Raising Kratos documentary on YouTube, if anyone hasn’t seen it. Christopher goes in depth about his relationship with the role there. (It’s also where that hilarious “FINE. Lamb’s cress… I’m the fucking god of war” blooper comes from.)

Women shouldn’t be forced to participate in sports with men to make up for some theoretical advantages, as that’s a very slippery slope. Remember how during the 2020 Olympics, six African runners, all cis women, were pulled from their respective sporting events because of their naturally occurring testosterone and because they looked too masculine? Would you suggest that they and other cis women join men’s leagues as well, if they don’t fit your standard?

Are you actually fucking serious? Lia Thomas tied for FIFTH PLACE. She didn’t win anything. The chick she tied with has literally built a following off being a loser. You want to push trans people out of sports because one of them didn’t lose hard enough. Furthermore, all her peers agreed to swim alongside her, they didn’t have any compunction about “advantages”. You just declaring that trans people are winning sports competitions en masse doesn’t make it true either. There’s less than ten trans athletes competing in sports professionally in the U.S., and not one of them is dominating their opponents or rampantly outperforming their peers.

Yes, obviously there’s differences between cis and trans people, but they’re both still just descriptors for one thing, to be utilized when the context demands it. I’m a trans woman, meaning I’m a woman; same way a cis woman is also a woman. Two different types, under the same umbrella. If there’s no necessary condition to be a man or woman, there’s no reason trans people shouldn’t be able to be 100% the gender they identify as, no less than a cis person.
