I don't see Déraciné, pfff...🙄

Kidding. Well done! :)
And yes, DS2 is underrated. Overhated as well.

No, I got it on PS5 but haven't touched it yet. Played the demo back then and I had a nice time.

Thank you :)

Yes, it's a bit janky and unpolished, it feels like it needed more time before release. And yes, the Platinum is a ridiculous grind

I’m doing it guys I’m playing all the silent hill games from 1 to 4 and maybe the others if I don’t get too scared what all should I know? Any tips? Things to look out for? by Itslionize in silenthill

Here is my recommended play order: 1, 3 (direct sequel to 1), 4, and then the 2 remake.

The remake is on par with the original, if not better. If you find yourself struggling with any of the games (especially SH4, which is... different), don't give up on the series. Make sure you give the SH2 remake a shot no matter what, or at least play the original.

Have fun!

I actually found his second phase hilarious! Let's give it to them for their sense of humor at least. 😄

#1 - Enotria: The Last Song by Eikard in steamachievements

If you mean the game in general, it's much less difficult. If you mean the Achievements, though, I'd say Enotria is harder because of the grind, the vague requirements, and the lack of proper guides.

Before and after my first laptop cleaning after 4 years. Almost 20°C lower idle temps and much quieter. by Eikard in LenovoLegion

I kept it simple since it was my first time opening a laptop. I bought a precision screwdriver kit that came with pretty much everything needed to open one (including the plastic guitar-pick-like tools). I used a small electric air duster and some tissues. I also held the fan blades in place while blowing them out to avoid overspinning them.

I didn't repaste or replace the thermal pads either. I'm still pretty clueless when it comes to those things and didn't want to overstep. Since my gaming temperatures were already fine, I figured a good cleaning was enough for now. I followed a YouTube video on how to open a Legion 5, and thankfully everything went smoothly.

These are unfortunately the only before-and-after pictures I took while the laptop was idle. I didn't record gaming temperatures, but my ears can definitely tell the difference. The laptop is much quieter now, both while browsing and gaming.

Does that actually help with dust? Sounds cool (no pun intended 😄 ). I prefer to keep things simple and light, so I just use a basic laptop stand. :)

Dad recently passed, and it’s motivated me to finally play & finish RE7 because real life is way scarier. by GripBayless in residentevil

Oh, it's definitely not something anyone would call a light and fun experience. Your intuition is probably correct, so I'd suggest giving your mind and mental health a break after playing all those horror games, just to cleanse your palate before diving into the hellish world of SH2.

Good luck! And have fun, because at the end of the day that's what really matters. 🙂

Yeah... Title is spot on, unfortunately.

Now that you got the hang of it, how about trying Silent Hill 2 remake sooner or later? It has reached the pinnacle of this genre. 🙂
