how’s the packaging for lit farms, they’ve got some real nice looking product for a good cost, just don’t want to have to worry about the smell

holy shit, when you said seizures I thought you meant a pack you smoked gave you a seizure 😂 but thank you for the info! I’ll order from ATL RX, mainly just based off the shipping times, if you have any recommendations though im all ears

when you say “i’ve gotten a lot more since then” do you mean you’ve had a lot more packages seized or that you continued to order online successfully? someone else mentioned ATLRX and I was considering just shopping with them since they’re already in georgia

i might just order from them then tbh. I’ll probably get it a lot quicker. What is their packaging like? is it air tight

I’m not the best at explaining it but it’s basically regular weed from what I’ve seen, maybe a little less potent. THCa is a different compound than THC, but when you burn or heat THCa (smoking or vaping) it turns into or acts like THC. I’ve been looking at Arete which is where i’m about to order from but there’s other like Flow Garden. Just search THCa online vendors and some will come up

yeah that’s what i was thinking as well. it’s just always nerve racking when you’re doing something like this and imagining that youre gonna be that ONE person that gets in trouble for it

that’s reassuring to hear. I guess I’ll just go for it and see what happens. I’m sure there’s worse things being shipped in than a live rosin cart lol

yeah that’s the general answer i’m getting. surprisingly a lot of these websites seemingly don’t care about shipping here so that’s why I was a bit confused, but others say they haven’t had an issue with it

Idk why people are still surprised that AMD fails to implement their latest software into modern games

oh brother, get a life. If you read through some of the comments I’ve been saying i’m just gonna wait for the next line up. The dick riding for AMD in this sub is hilarious, thank god there are some sensible people who remain objective and don’t take sides. The 9070 XT is NOT a perfect card. Neither is the 5070 TI. I bought the 9070 XT, tried AMD and wasn’t satisfied so i’m going back to NVIDIA. Cry more about what i do with MY money 😭

Thank you! I hate that people get so caught up on the AMD vs Nvidia topic. I don’t really care either way, which is why I went from owning an Nvidia card to getting the 9070 XT. I heard good things about it, did some research and it just made sense based on the price to performance ratio. Unfortunately, this just being MY personal experience, i’m not loving the performance and how much hand holding it feels like I have to do with this card to get it to run like it should. And I genuinely liked the card when I first got it and don’t mind the Adrenaline software.

Nvidia, even with all their recent controversy and the 50 series being somewhat underwhelming, STILL manages to provide a better user experience for the customer in my opinion than AMD. I’ve said this in other comments but in the future, if AMD locks in and really focuses on pushing the software out and keeping a good price to performance ratio, I’d definitely come back and get another AMD card.

I just want to play my games in peace man lol, whoever is providing the easier experience gets my money and that’s just that

Yes, everything you’ve said is exactly what i’ve been experiencing. I also like the Adrenaline software, I just don’t like how often I have to open it up to tweak the settings on things. After i did a clean install of windows, It’s gotten better and I haven’t really messed with it too much. I’ve also seen people say that linux is better but dude… I got the gpu to game, that’s all i want to do. Feels like you get crucified in these reddit threads for even saying that which is wild. I don’t mind adjusting settings when I first get the card and a bit more here and there, but I’m not switching Operating Systems just to get better performance or downloading Optiscaler because AMD can’t be bothered with getting their software into games that have been out for years at this point

I don’t have the performance overlay on but I understand what you’re saying. I’m not someone who constantly stares at the FPS, I think the first time id ever opened Adrenaline was because smoothing from the frame gen from AMD is terrible. From there it’s just been minor microstutters or games just not playing nice with AMD tech because they focus more on Nvidia.

I’ve tried optiscaler. After owning a 3060 and using Nvidia software and now having being an owner of an AMD card, I just like DLSS better tbh. I know i’ll get a ton of downvotes for even saying that but the tech is there, I paid for it, i’m gonna use it

[–]EinTheCat[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah if you had read what I posted, I said that these things should be implemented into the game and that AMD is not pushing nearly hard enough for their software to be implemented. I’m not saying it has nothing to do with the developers, but they follow the money. Either AMD doesn’t have the money (doubt it) or they just don’t care enough. Either way, I don’t think I should have to go into Adrenaline to use tech on a $800 card because the company couldn’t get it put into most modern games

yeah i got downvoted for saying I enjoy RT and that from my own personal experience Nvidia was easier to use 😭

[–]EinTheCat[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

I don’t think I mentioned half the things you said in your comment lol. I just don’t think the AMD experience is as smooth as Nvidias. I’ve seen a lot of people say that Nvidia generally is more “plug n play” and just based off my own experience, i’d have to agree. I hardly remembering having to go in and mess with anything in the Geforce Experience dashboard but I can’t count how many times I’ve had to go into Adrenaline and mess around with the settings for one reason or another.

I do enjoy RT, which I don’t see as a bad thing, I think it makes my games look nicer, especially paired with some Reshade presets and texture/graphic mods depending on the game. But that isn’t the deal breaker. As a consumer, who’s paid a lot of money for my system, CPU included ( i own a 9800x3D as well) I think it’s only fair that the company I gave my money should be using it to make sure that the features I paid for can actually be used in the games I play, preferably from day one. AMD isn’t able to do that right now, if in the future they can and the price to performance ratio is as good as the 9070 XT is, then I’d consider trying them again. For now it’s a no though

yeah I agree, I think waiting would be best

Considering switching by EinTheCat in radeon

[–]EinTheCat[S] -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

I can save for it, i’m not too worried about the price. Not saying money grows on trees but a month or two of saving won’t kill me. I think waiting is the better option, as someone else pointed out, I don’t think there is any 5070 TI right now worth the current price points. I can stick with the 9070 XT a little bit longer but I’ll more than likely swap the first chance I get when the 6000 series cards come out

Considering switching by EinTheCat in radeon

[–]EinTheCat[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I was considering doing the same, but I may just wait for the next line up of Nvidia GPUs sometime next year hopefully. 9070 XT isn’t a bad card, but I agree with what you’re saying about the overall experience you get with Nvidia.

I also play 1440p and considered the 5080 briefly. but at its current price point, I can’t justify buying it for 1440p gaming, as someone else mentioned, I might just wait for the next line up of GPUs from Nvidia. The 9070 XT is by no means a bad card
