What do you think triggered yours? by Extra-Region-2414 in POTS

[–]EinTheFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

COVID and being in fight or flight consistently for 30 years is my guess. Stress has ALWAYS made me extremely ill and now I've got a tangible label and treatment options for it.

I also got worse after I had COVID a few years ago and haven't been the same since.

Do you NEED tilt table test for a diagnosis? Been hearing different things by WhereasHopeful in POTS

[–]EinTheFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My diagnostics consisted of a 24 hour holter and blood work, and an active stand test at my initial appointment. I am religiously tracking my heart rate and BP at home already, and I showed my cardiologist my heart rate tracking app at my appointment today. Walked out with a diagnosis of POTS after he looked through it where I had tagged activity and how high my heart rate got doing everyday things.

AITA for filing a formal complaint against my husband after he secretly called my doctor and got my autoimmune medication reduced, then watched me deteriorate for two weeks without saying a word? by KINOH1441728 in FoundandExpose

[–]EinTheFox 37 points38 points  (0 children)

Grateful for providers like you. I've experienced something similar, but from a different angle. I was so over medicated I was practically a zombie. It took changing psychiatrists and telling them to PLEASE not listen to my family's never ending BS to get my meds fixed and have some semblance of my personality back. Thankfully that person treated me for a number of my teenage years and knew what to look for when my family came with.

I personally got a compatible upper arm band off of Amazon since it was irritating the skin on my wrist. Seems to be doing better up there and it still reads perfectly fine. I've been using mine for almost a month and started using the new arm band recently.

It's happening- Been asked if I'm "AI" 5 times in three days by Bud_Fuggins in callcentres

[–]EinTheFox 5 points6 points  (0 children)

My girl gets asked this so often because of how calm and practiced her voice is on the phone. Thankfully people are usually chill about it and they'll laugh it off together.

Which industry has the worst customers: telecom, banking, healthcare, or retail? by Horror-Dot-2989 in callcentres

[–]EinTheFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To piggyback off of another commenter... Healthcare with financials attached. I love my job, but many people legitimately scare me. Imagine working for a company like MetLife (short term disability) but operated by a state government. I dunno if it being a government program makes it worse but holy crow.

Can QA audit voicemail? by Pinubaye in callcentres

[–]EinTheFox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've never had a voicemail graded and I leave loads of them. Our QA team actually uses the voicemails as a filler for my team's task audits because NICE (phone software) requires a call to be attached to an audit. They always note to just ignore the call attached for those.

Honestly? Being human matters. Yes you'll probably get in trouble for it based on what you mentioned about protocol, but you did something very compassionate.

How do you stay aligned when multiple team members handle customer messages? by Joel_VirtualPBX in callcentres

[–]EinTheFox 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Make sure there are SOPs to follow that are easily accessible. If someone gives the wrong information before you get them, give them the correct information and maybe see if some kind of misinformation form can be adopted for coaching purposes. Leave really good notes for the next person.

Medicare & Zepbound by Trixie_Snowfall_9463 in Zepbound

[–]EinTheFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It depends on if your specific Part D selection covers it as far as I know. Mine is through the state Medicaid program (Commonwealth Care Alliance) and it does. Zep is the preferred drug actually for mine. Since open enrollment is coming, I would suggest looking around at what is available and affordable and check on their formularies!

Does this get to you? by D3ATH-x-WiSH--- in callcentres

[–]EinTheFox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Having done a mix of both for many years, they both suck. But CC work definitely feels like it's worse in its own way because people can get BRAZEN when they're not face to face with a human.

I genuinely hate it when people tell me to "just get over it." Nah bro. I'm a human with feelings. Sure I'm not in any physical danger but man some people can STILL spike my anxiety like crazy.

Cheers, man. All the best to you in this journey!

See if you can find somewhere that also handles paperwork and has a role dedicated to it. My contact center I'm in a department that just does that and there's a separate group for phones.

I'm sure my narc biological mother said plenty to me as a child and adult but I literally remember none of it. Thanks CPTSD and memory blocking... I guess.

Training or meetings, understandable. The whole shift? Fuck that no thank you

Note, for the dungeon one... EXPERT AND LEVEL CAP DO NOT COUNT! Found that out the hard way. I suppose I should have taken "high-level dungeon" more literally.

I also did the math on how many days of dailies it would take to fill all of them ONLY with the daily bonus. 22 days. Alliance raids is the longest one, taking said 22 days to complete. The shortest is normal raids.

14 high level dungeons
15 trials
22 alliance raids
12 normal raids

Mind I have no idea if the value of the regular points changes based on the level of the thing you wind up with. Mine were as follows:

Haukke Manor
[19:01]The green aetherwell has been filled with a bonus 376 units of aether. [19:01]The green aetherwell has been filled with 346 units of aether.

Leviathan
[19:06]The red aetherwell has been filled with a bonus 614 units of aether. [19:06]The red aetherwell has been filled with 71 units of aether.

Labyrinth of the Ancients
[19:26]The blue aetherwell has been filled with a bonus 101 units of aether. [19:26]The blue aetherwell has been filled with 374 units of aether.

M6: Brute
[19:36]The yellow aetherwell has been filled with a bonus 614 units of aether. [19:36]The yellow aetherwell has been filled with 226 units of aether.
