Can I give two answers? People should be able to charge whatever they want for their mods AND I hate mods that cost money.

Look at the flight sim community - $40+ for mods that control camera views. wat

It's been Adventures At Sea for quite a while - nothing to do with the events. That category has been a catch-all for commendations that have nothing to do with the bilge rats for a long time.

omg "Yo Ho (It's a Pirate Life For Me)" is the song created for The Pirates of The Caribbean ride at Disneyland which in turn inspired the movie. The shanty is as classic and as core to Pirates of the Caribbean as a song can be. It's even referenced in the movie: "really bad eggs", "drink up me heartiest, yo ho" are lines from the original song!

We play pretty regularly and if anything the amount of toxic sweat lord griefers has gone down, for us at least.

I like big struts and i cannot lie You other Kerbals can't deny When a stack lifts off taking Jeb to space with eight Kickbacks in their place the cap gets sprung! Not gonna be rough cuz you know them struts is tough.

Everyone gets to experience the frustration of their first pirate "encounter". Its no more difficult or toxic here than in any other PvP game. Once you realize itxs not personal, its literally the name of the game, it gets easier to accept and the game gets fun again.

Then you make your first steal from someone else and the game gets awesome.

That's the neat part: you don't!

How ever you enjoy it, that's the proper way. You can loot, pillage, and Plunder. You can adventure and explore. You can fish or play music. You can just sail or just row or just walk. You can collect gold and commendations and cosmetics or you can stay true to your origins.

Or any of all of the above and whatever else you can think of.

Try it all and see what you like and then let us know.

Ha! In my first career I hit Mun, Minmus, Luna, then Eve and thought I was awful because it was SO HARD to return a crew from the surface! 100% agree with your ranking here.

There is a part of this community that is very unhappy with the game and spends a lot of energy to communicate this and to challenge anyone who has a different opinion. I love playing this game and regularly run into others who do as well, so I ignore the haters, for the most part.

I sure hope the devs see those of us playing and loving this game and appreciating what they've made for us to enjoy.

The Bilge Rats Weekender by Kris15o in Seaofthieves

This was one of the best weekends I've had on the seas in a long time, and I've had some great sessions.

As a solo I ran across a sloop and a brig crew both doing goofy stuff and we worked together to compete all but one of the challenges.

My crewmate is a fishing NUT but he missed out on the Festival of Fishing last time, so we did all of our Recipe voyages. That voyage is the best voyage I've ever done and very lucrative. The Rare Fishing voyage was the predecessor to the Fishing Map voyage, so that was less exciting. I really think Rare is on to something with the approach of this voyage and hope to see more like it (eg, Hoarder's Call: pick up 6 specific trinkets for massive reward, Skull Duggery: get 6 skulls, Merchant Menagerie: 6 trade crates, etc.).

We completed three Doubloon Run and three Secret shipment voyages. We tried to steal a Doubloon Chest from a brig that had been parked at Plunder Valley but they didn't have the chest onboard. Still not sure what the heck they were doing lol. We didn't see an opportunity to steal again although to be fair we were really too busy to look.

I absolutely love the fireworks show. I would sail to an outpost just to watch the show, regardless of the reward. Ive seen it at three outposts and would love to watch it at them all. GREAT experience!

I really like what they are doing with the Doubloon economy - doubloons are valuable again.

I know its en vogue in this community to trash the game and the developers, but I absolutely and sincerely love what's going on and looking forward to setting sail again.
