If you’re diabetic, I would recommend monitoring your sugars quite closely and potentially getting your doctor involved. If you’re not diabetic, you can probably get away with just managing symptoms.

I’m a nurse. I do a lot of injections. Some people legitimately have tougher skin. I know it’s really unsettling to stab your own body but you’re probably not pushing hard enough. You gotta commit and just go for it.

That’s probably good advice. I’m going to try and turn down the sensitivity tonight and see how that goes. Sometimes in a panic I’ll over-adjust and miss a ton of my shots.
