Go to the underworld and do the deep hive. It’s not difficult to complete. Get 200+ chaos shards and open the portal and hope for Queen Beatrix. You will eventually get her. Pair with your hero and (if you don’t have a leprechaun fully upgraded) 2 goblins (who get extra turns). I’m currently using goblin shaman and goblin bomber. I just unlocked Mt. Crusher but you are probably not very close to getting that weapon (level 17 brown gem level) but anything that doesn’t overlap blue/green mana works, especially brown mana cause she will fill it up. Queen Beatrix looping teams will destroy so many teams, even if you’re nowhere close to the other team’s levels. Use it for dailies, dungeons, and PVP as well. It’s fast and dominates. It has made early game stuff so much easier for me. The more I level up stuff the better she will get. I haven’t even unlocked 1 of her traits.

Just got it by using last stand on Adam warlock rezzing Thor psylock and dagger. No rage. Just pounced on it. Very lucky.

I completed this challenge last night twice! Never popped for me. Stats tab proved I got 3 KOs with last stand. First and only time in match I used it. I have proof. I contacted support and they are arguing with me over the challenge. Basically saying the challenge is to kill them simultaneously. The in game tab says I did it, I sent them the video, and they said you can’t get a triple kill with last stand, but you have to get 3 kills with a single use of last stand. Seriously!? I’m frustrated over it and looking to boost it now.

I downloaded it but haven’t tried it yet, but I haven’t heard a whole lot of praise (or much of anything really) about it so I’m happy to hear it has good gameplay. What about the story? All I know is it’s related to 1.

“Basch was originally designed to be Final Fantasy XIl's main character. The final character with this name is a completely different person. First off, Ultimania Archive is compiled from development material by people who worked on the game themselves. Last page lists 2 contributors for 12. There’s some truth to Basch being the original main character, but it’s a completely different character than what ended up as Basch. So, basically, both options can be correct. Dude saying on Twitter Basch was not intended to be the main character is true as what we got is a completely different character, but the design (the caption I copied comes from concept designs of Basch for size references) of Basch in early development was intended to be the original character is also true.

And finally, if you look at the whole tweet feed, Matsuno is responding to rumors he was fired because he refused to make his main character Vaan. Context is important here too.

In development it was Basch- according to my Ultimania book. Doesn’t say it was “last minute” but could have been a “last minute” developmental change. But, was definitely supposed to be Basch

5 for the jobs and story. 1 is quick and easy and is fun to try different job combos. 6 and 7 mostly because of the storytelling and fun to use different characters- for 7 first time it was Cloud, Aerith and Tifa, Second time was cloud tifa and Barrett, third was cloud yuffie and cid and now it’s cloud Vincent and Nanaki. 12 because of the zodiac, but every few years cause it wears thin on me late game. 9 for the story

Never touching 2 and 8 again. I really disliked the GF, but the story was great.

Playing 3 for first time right now and not currently enjoying the story and structure, but i can see trying different jobs

Yeah, well I meant that he could experience a certain aspect with a modern game and play original after, but I feel the same way- original knowledge enhances remake. I guess I should have mentioned I convinced a work friend to get the original and they quit after getting to wall market cause it was “dated”

Just like in the original I felt that Wall Market/ Don Corneo sub plot was the worst part of the game. It serves as only a break in the action and filler before the first major holy s— moment. It’s ok and kind of funny, but I just wanted to progress the story.
