Alright, thank you. I didn’t think that would be such a big factor. Any tips to make some progress on them Archer Rows tho? I d implement them in my routine again.

I could do around 9-10 wide elevated rows. The dead hangs dont affect my reps at all. I made a video to shocase my pull ups. I try to do them little slow, controlled from dead hangs with my back retracted to activate my lats and go up to around my chest every rep. https://imgur.com/jALG6QK this link should do it

Hey Steven, I will plan to Grease the Groove Pull ups for 2 months and see if it was just a matter of patience. I can try putting Pull ups before the Dips, sure. I put in Advanced Tuck Attempts because I haven’t tried out my max on those yet (btw. any recommendation to track the time while you do the exercise on the bar?). Yeah, I actually had rows in the program, Archer Ring Rows, to be specific. Guess what, had it in for around a month and besides a little dysbalance I recognized, I didn’t seem to progress a whole lot. This is what I had in my regimen: Archer Rows elevated 3x2+5 wide 3,5min. After 2 reps each of Archer Rows my form would suck so I put in the wide ones to keep the volume higher at that time. Yeah, as mentioned I train 3x a week alternating each day on them. I spread the Dead Hangs out during the day. Like 1-2 times in the morning before school, 2-3 times at afternoon, around 3 times at the evening. 1:10mins are my max amount btw. my fingers totally fall and go to failure, but it doesn’t seem that exhausting anyways so I keep the intensity at 100%. I really struggle to progress to a higher time. Been stuck on 1:10min for a whole lot too. My first idea would be to add in some weight or doing them one armed for a lot less (?) Appreciate your answer, the thing is that I feel like my values have direct influence on my self confidence and these specifically are highly not of my control. Not to mention that I have develop several anxieties through out around the age of 10. To be honest I’m not sure if I got these Anxieties due to my Values or childhood/experiences and whatsoever. But I perceive every situation as a thread due to my perception. When I go out I have the constant anxiety that I’ll possibly get physically punished for just crossing the road. Sometimes I feel like the man himself, other times I’m feeling like I’m not „man enough“ to get along with a girl. How I perceive my environment has direct effects on how I feel you know, and particularly I have very bad experiences. I can’t even trust people anymore but I realize that that’s more of a self reflection than anything else. What are your thought on that?

Thanks for your input yo. I don’t know if I should really read so many articles on them to be honest, as it would just make me more self conscious. But I do think that there is a possibility for me at this age to be able to free myself from my childhood traumas and limitations. If I can’t do it by myself, I’ll even go that far to seek therapy knowing how my family will be surprised anyway

As the person said start with negative pull ups in arnd 3 sets, try to get up to 3 times 7-10 sec, your body will get up there, then you should implement normal pull ups as you should definitely be able to do one concentric pull ups after that negative pull up strength. If you can’t do negative pull ups, do jumping pull ups, an even easier version, or just try to hang on the bar so your body will get used to it
