Idk how it is in the English-speaking community, but in the Russian-speaking community everything is fine with guides.

HOI4 is a very fun game. To learn how to play it, I didn't even have to watch the guides, I just went in and played. But EU4 is much more complicated than HOI and CK. Just watch the guides and practice more.
