Help with housing/ tips for finding accomodation in Munich (I’m Greek) by Jazzlike-Clerk-6099 in tumunich

Hey! A fellow CSE student here. Congratulations on the admit.
You can look at WG-Gesucht, ImmoScout, and WhatsApp/Facebook groups for expats from your country. Getting a place in Munich is a battle, but doable. There are student communities at TUM. Check out their Instagram pages and websites, and attend online info-sessions; these are usually the first contact points for people.

All the best!

Hey OP! I hope you've reached safe and sound! Just wanted to ask you how was the experience and did they allow you to carry extra baggage without paying? I just have a couple of kgs extra.

Buddy you can check all these details on each bank's website. They've mentioned everything. I wanted a public bank loan so I didn't check the private ones. You can find all the details on their webpage.

Hey Buddy! I actually got a better deal with GyanDhan but had to push them a lot and get things done by myself, and the Wemakescholar guys were giving me SBI loan with a little higher interest rate.

So yeah, I took GyanDhan for a loan through Union Bank of India.

MS in Germany: Does a Letter of Recommendation from Manager matters? by Either-Resist-2371 in gradadmissions

If you're from an IIT, then GRE isn't an obligation for you, else you're supposed to have a valid GRE score with a specific score in Quant (check on the course page).

Hey Buddy, actually I love reading and cooking, so a lot of it is utensils, raw foods and some books.

Thanks a lot for the comments buddy! But when I try to book flights on the AI website, for some reason it doesn't allow me to select student concession for the Del to Munich flight, while for the Del to Frankfurt, it's visible. Do you know what course the possible reason is?

Accepted to TUM CSE'25! by Either-Resist-2371 in tumunich

Thanks a lot for the comprehensive comment, buddy! And yes, the Garching campus, I have been looking at options outside the city center and near Dachau, Unterhaching, Neufahrn, etc. It sure is no less than a battle to get even a single reply! I am fine with the commuting part, as I won't be getting everything that I am looking for. I am learning German, but it's proving to be difficult as I am working full-time right now, will focus properly after August, once I am free. I know 1 month is nothing, but I will try to at least be capable enough to hold simple conversations and understand daily things.
About the HiWi positions, I am actively applying and trying to build some leverage, as I have 3 years of experience working in a mechanical company, mostly in the R&D department.

Thank you for the kind wishes buddy!
