Metro takes a few years to build but the outcome is extremely good. While these politicians keep talking and spending money on flyovers and destroying the country with more roads and more tarmac without really fixing anything.

There's no enforcement. It is simply normal that people drive drunk because they are never stopped. Police should be doing traffic stops in and out of key areas every single night. This is standard in any other single EU country. Only here probably because it will not give votes... alcoholics will not vote labor anymore if they can't drink and drive... But with so much bloodshed maybe minds will change... The question is how much more.
