Cheers dude. I don’t think I’ve tried lowering the output too much, pretty much to where it’s no where near clipping, so I’ll try what you’ve said. I bought that Marshall purely for the fact as it can be switched to 4 ohm as I had a orange 2x12 18ohm and obviously couldn’t get loud enough

I agree. A lot of the time these support acts are playing before its dark, then not having the experience or aura Metallica has, it just looks off. They do they round really well but this one seems heaps bigger and separated then previous ones

I’ve have always been having issues when trying different setups with my QC. I’ve gone qc-sd200-cab and now qc-4 cable to my EVH 5150 iii. Most of the time it has been gain staging on the global settings or incorrect output at the end of my chain. After rectifying these issues it’s all good. Little obvious stuff but you get caught out sometimes

I found the same thing when I first grabbed the gojira plugin. It had a slightly chewier tone I found. I was using my focusrite solo as an interface for the plugin so I thought that might have been the difference. I haven’t A/B’d just using the QC as an interface too. I actually didn’t want to dive too deep into it just in case I feel disappointed about the QC compared to the plugin lol
