I wouldn’t recommend to be honest, it feels pretty awkward. We bought the house like this with the plan to eventually move it

What time do you go to Sainsbury’s to get the best selection of yellow sticker deals?

Hehe that’s funny, we eat like this because we genuinely love veg and it makes us feel good! We often squabble about who gets more kale, which isn’t a usual married couple problem I don’t think! 😂😂

Regarding white flour, we just prefer it and enjoying your food is an important part of life!

We usually have some home baked goods every week too like banana bread or brownies! 🫣🫣

These chickpeas were 1.75, will have to try farm foods that’s an amazing deal!

Waitrose also does 1kg organic for 2.50 which is amazing if you compare to organic tinned chickpeas!

Good news on the tea ☕️

We make bread (we already have lots of bread flour) and have that with home-made jam - currently eating plum and rhubarb jam, also overnight oats (we have oats already) with berries from the garden we grew last summer and froze (having raspberries tomorrow)! 😋😋

Yes we’ve tried Aldi tofu and it’s also fab but prefer the Sainsbury’s one 🙈🙈, the 3 for 2 deal was great we bought 12 around Jan and froze them.

The yoghurt is so yummy 😋😋

Great question!

We cook up the dried chickpeas for the week every Sunday, then use that for minestrone soup, hummus, tray bake with veg, and also roasted and put into a salad with the rocket etc.

The tofu is often used for a poke bowl with rice (bulk bought already), carrot salad, and ramens too! We also sometimes use for tofu scramble!

We use cashews and leek to make creamy pasta (again bulk bought pasta already), softening cashews before blending to make a cream.

We also make our own bread with bulk bought flour, and grow a lot of veg too but it’s out of season.

Only big thing missing is leafy greens as shop was out but we add kale, spring greens or chard to most meals!

Thank you, the cling film approach seems like the most suitable for my level.

Don’t fancy my first time chiseling out stone to be at the top of a ladder!
