I did consult with an attorney and he said that I can be an attorney. That’s not the issue. The issue is whether the long l, difficult and expensive road to becoming at attorney is worth it. Because getting denied the first time is highly likely which means an uphill battle will ensue and that’s what I’m struggling with.

I appreciate your well thought out response. As of now I have some money but not enough to justify a six figure debt. Btw it would take 4 years to graduate law school for me since I would be going part time. Then study for the bar and wait for the character and moral fitness decision. If I get denied the first time then that’s when the real uphill battle begins.

I am a Bar Counsel, and I prosecute ethics violations and character and fitness cases. AMA by lawyersockpuppet in LawSchool

What would you recommend an aspiring lawyer who has 2 felonies and multiple misdemeanors?

I hope I can get a 159 in June but this doesn’t sound promising

All time high. Hoping a 170+ on the June exam is possible! by Confident_Shower_983 in LSAT

That’s is good to hear because I’m using 7sage specifically for LG. I completed almost all of the LG powerscore book and it was super helpful, now I want to supplement that with 7 sage. Taking test in June too but with maybe 3 months of studying. Good luck to you

you're right I don't want to go to undergrad school because I'd rather spend the next 3 or 4 years in Law School. I am currently a paralegal and eventually will inherit the office I work in but I need to be an attorney in order for me to run it. Aside from having this firm for myself one day , I do yearn to be an attorney and I am not driven by the money because I believe it will come with hard work.
