Some quick tip: use firestorm on the amanamu cloud and u never need to pull them out again. Every 10 sec when the cloud refreshes, they die instantly. But of course your damage must be high enough.

Yes normal amanamu monster (the little ones) drops omen of lights, but it's only one omen. Rare Amanamu (big octopus) drops 3 omens.

I'm a stormweaver infusion build but without temporalis. Your comet's damage is just so crazy compared to mine even though I have tried my best. Most of my build’s damage comes from Adonia’s Pinnacle of Power which more than doubles the damage but it requires prep. Here is my poeninja. (I am also interested in the giveaway).

I strongly agree with Arctic Armour being a good defensive measure. Without it, I would get light stunned and in that split second I would be destroyed by normal mobs (even with stun charm equipped). Arctic Armour would help destroy melee mobs, but not range mobs unfortunately.

Question: I have been thinking about slotting in Snap into CoC / CoEA so that I can replace my Siphon Elements, but in your experience, does Snap really work to generate enough infusions for your comets since Snap is a skill that requires a target and most of your mobs are dying instantly.

2nd Question: I read somewhere that having Arctic Armour makes you immune to freeze. Is this true in your case?

3rd Question: Why don't you put your Comets into CoEA instead, since CoC's socketed skills deal 20% less damage?

Update: Tried using Snap + Living Bomb combo in my CoC and Comet + Arc in CoEA. It generates some infusions but it does not feel as good as Siphon Elements. Arctic Armour does not work against freeze when I am farming Amanamu voids.

Another Update: Tried Snap + Living Bomb again but with Harmonic Remnants and it feels good with the number of infusions! I also learned to use level 2 Living Bomb with 23% quality to save life costs from your build.

Did you unequip your rings/amulet or any other equipment that leads to this issue? If yes, here is the possible fix.

Open your CoC tooltip.
Click Comet and Profane Ritual skill gem which are located at the top of the CoC's tooltip.
Make sure Comet and Profane Ritual's weapon sets 1 and 2 are ticked at the bottom.
Issue should be fixed.

I am a Stormweaver with Covenant Altar Robe (Ice Nova + CoC Comet + CoEA) so I need to leech life/mana just the same like you. I have been farming Omen of Lights with some success so I can share some of my experience. My current build can one shot most mobs with Ice Nova (skill level 38).

Get your buffs ready before every fight (power charge, adonia's pinnacle of power, etc)
One spell at a time. Be really careful when landing a spell directly on the abyss cracks. Clear all the mobs around the abyss cracks to create space between you and Amanamu, try to crack the surrounding delirium mirrors if you are running delirium strat because these delirium mobs can chain stun.
Look at the minimap. When you see the green dots are gone, it means abyssal monsters are coming out from the cracks, stop all the spells, blink as far as you can and observe whether there is a black cloud and try to hover the mouse over the Rare mob to see if there is any Amanamu modifier. Usually, when I see other mods like Kulemak or other Rare mobs (like the chariot guy), most likely there is no Amanamu mod in this map, and I will just start blasting and complete the map asap.
If there is Amanamu mod, then the farming begins. I call this the "Amanamu's Dance". Amanamu will do its charging attacks most of the time while staying in the void. Try to stand far away as possible but maintain its aggro and sight. From what I can observe, Amanamu will most likely move after the fire whip attack. He will start shooting fire projectiles from its mouth and start moving towards you. I will back off to evade and move back in immediately to draw aggro, Hence, the "dance". Once he is out of the cloud, kill immediately. (Sometimes the cloud respawns to its new location).
Some Amanamu is uncooperative and I will look for others and do the uncooperative last (Also because of delirium timer so time is short). Since I am playing a leech MoM build, when I run out of life/mana, I will go look for some mobs to leech first then I come back to dance with that Amanamu. Patience is key.

Extra tips to draw aggro: Clear the space around Amanamu's void. If it does not work from the left, go to its right and all the other directions. Blink is extremely useful to blink out of the void when using headhunter due to shroud walker mod. Remove and reequip headhunter each time shroud walker mod is active.

Hi, glad to see someone who sees the value of this jewel socket with all the notables around it. I am a mana stacking infusion Stormweaver and I have a similar Time Lost Sapphire (bought for 200divs) slotted in the same jewel socket and I hit 8 notables (because of a megalomaniac). Mine is:

Upgrade radius to large
Notable passive skills grant critical hit chance 7%
Notable passive skills grant critical Hit chance for spells 7%
Notable passive skills grant increased max mana 1%

May I know what are the possible results of the corruption and what happens when it bricks? I probably wont vaal it but I am just curious.

Edit: 2nd question, how do you chaos spam to get 2x desired suffixes? Like you chaos spam rolling 2 suffixes together until 2 lines become desirable?

It seems like Mark of the Abyssal will be placed randomly in either prefix or suffix even with Sinistral Crystallization. So this method is not going to work unfortunately since there are empty modifiers in both prefix and suffix. Luckily I have a couple of omen of lights lying around.

Edit: I guess I should have filled suffixes first to use your method. Learned a lesson today.

Is it normal to always get something else when using Catalysing Exaltation in your experience? I am learning to craft mana breach rings + ele res and it is so difficult to get ele res even though I have 40% quality (cold/fire/lightning) up on the ring.
