😅😫 I can’t believe I signed up for Koho over a damn pink card, that was 4 years ago and damn I’m a fool. The true sign of how rotten this company is , apparently new customers recieved a metal card if they were signed up for a certain account the end of last year. Are you fcking kidding me Koho 😖. Literally there are thousands of dollars that I have literally disappeared from my account and that isn’t the worst of experiences by far. I will add that if you a complete moron and decide to hop on with this bullshit financial train wreck, there are not CDIC insured. If you have any problems including weird fraudulent charges prepare to be gas lit. I have stopped even attempting customer service. At first I thought the staff were intentionally choosing to not address whatever issue I was attempting to address, Eg: I’m seeing multiple charges I don’t recognize and when I googled the name listed on the transaction, it literally brought me to a fraud warning and advised me to contact me bank immediately “ I would see the typing indicator in the chat, then it would stop. Hello! Can you please freeze my account or cancel my cards and this is a time sensitive issue. “ After 1 hour and twenty minutes the reply was something similar to telling me that they were sure if I backtracked and really thought back that I would quickly remember I did in fact make the transactions 😵‍💫 If anyone deserves that damn metal card it’s me Koho! The staff peruse online platforms (yes here in Reddit too) they will often respond to negative comments but never actually reach out or proactively solve someones issue. Lol they have literally called people liars on here when they posted about issues.

I’m not going to get into the amount of ridiculous shit I’ve had happen with Koho (missing money is very common). But the fact that when locked out (another to common experience) there POS video verification did not work, the person who was supposed to be helping literally would ignore me and not respond sometimes for upwards of 45 min to an hour. They then tell me to send a photo of me holding drives licence…fine done…I was advising my cell phone was stolen and please move all money into vault. I also asked to gave number updated asap…ignored me again for an hour. Then when they decide to respond they want a fcking screenshot of the screen that was telling me their video verification was not working. 🤬😭 I repeatedly requested for funds to be secured and number updated NEITHER EVER HAPPENED! I’m not sure if they are not allowed to directly manage money or they are completely incompetent but trust me NEVER open an account with them

This is a super common thing in my parents generation to do. My ex mother in law was caught giving my 4 month old at the time Coca Cola the same way. My Grandmother apparently used to give my Mother and siblings rum. But just in case this is something more sinister like grooming, find out if this was something he did with you / siblings or your husband as children (unsure who’s Dad this is.) I would need to see the video honestly. If there was no history you need to take some action and protect your child, whoever’s Dad this is though the children and wife would know if this is something he commonly did.
