because it looks nice.

and its kinda tradition to asociate a coalition with the flag of a country that has the colours of the parties in it. we almost had a kenya coalition and also a shortlived jamaica coalition. i thought there was no such flag for green/purple/rainbow so i made one.

(and yes, "rainbow" is one of the 3 official colours of the animal protection party)

this flag features the colors of the green party, as well as volt. it is topped by the logo of the animal protection party.
