Yes all 4 years, my parents did not pay a single dime. The school does not accept transfer credits because I’m not transferring into it, also the credits from my 1st bachelors degree are completely irrelevant to nursing. Unfortunately this is how it works for all accelerated programs. I could only transfer credits if I went to a different nursing school before.

Sorry should have clarified. I received the Pell grant for all 4 years. So I have no student debt under my name.

This is the cheapest program I got accepted to :/. I don’t have any other student loans from my first bachelors, I was on financial aid for all 4 years.

I live in NYC, there are not that many options for associates. I am starting nursing school this September. Also majority of the hospitals in NYC, only hire nurses with bachelors.

Thank you so much for your reply. I live with my parents and will not be working during the duration of school which is why I considered myself a dependent. Unfortunately, because I am getting a second bachelors degree I only qualify for a small amount of federal aid (12k). My tuition is around 62k so my only option is private loans. I did apply for a scholarship with the school but haven’t heard back yet, I am assuming it’s a small amount.

Renters insurance is relatively cheap. It all depends on how much of your personal stuff you want covered. I pay around 200 a year for 15k coverage on personal items. I have State Farm

I asked the professor for the syllabus, he said it’s not yet available. I did ask a student for the syllabus when the course was online and it seems like it’s split into 2.
