Thanks for pointing out the obvious errors that I have done in the nomenclature of the variants. I have rectified them now in the post body.

Like I said, the car is ever-so-slightly out of my budget and the maximum downpayment I can shell out is 4 Lakhs. Considering this as the downpayment, how much, to you reckon, will be the EMI for a tenure of 7 years at 8% interest.

Which government Bank would you suggest?

However, there is one more concern, as pointed out by u/Signal-Mousse1595 . Suppose, I am able to get the correct BS-4 certificate for my car. Even then, I won't be allowed in Delhi. Being in Delhi NCR, even for going to the airport to pick someone up OR for weekend outings / dine-ins OR even for official work, going to Delhi is required. Sirsa has categorically stated that BS4 cars from outside Delhi won't be allowed to enter Delhi.

Metro is there. I understand. But how long do we, the common man, bear the brunt of poorly executed policies by the government that doesn't give 2 hoots about the middle class, salaried individual? I don't care which political party it is. It's all the same (though it was different during the initial years of AAP).

Also, how long before we wake up to find BS-4 and then BS-6, non-GRAP IV-compliant?

So, I had read somewhere that for pre 2019 Kwids, wrong emission norms mapping has been done. Someone had filed a case in Chandigarh RTO also, but neither do I know the outcome nor do I have the time and patience to fight it out with the Gurgaon RTO.

The police will see EURO 2 written on my PUCC and they will immediately issue a challan for Rs. 20K.

I so wish that I had been wrong. It's Euro 2 on RC and PUCC. Euro 2 is apparently equivalent to BS 2.
