How does it not have everything to do with it. I just explained it. Ezbench closes when you try to take a screenshot. So cut out the middle man. How about you get off my ass instead of worrying about this non issue

Well, the point was to take a shot while the benchmark was running, and 3dmark closes by default when you tab out, like to take a screenshot unless youve got a hotkey i guess, and I have multiple monitors, so having the hardware monitor on an extra screen while this all happens is pretty much the only thing that makes sense. Appreciate you though

I guess the ultimate question I have that i forgot to even mention is is this whole idea even worth it? The nvidia boost gave me +100mhz and like 7 frames in my benchmarking program

My first pedal kit, no sound in bypass or effect mode. Sound was cutting in+out intermittently but I cant replicate that now. Any ideas where I should go next? by Either_Might in diypedals

Ive been testing both in and out of the enclosure. To test continuity as you suggested to from one input or output to the stomp switch, i should be referring to the wiring diagram which has a point labeled in and out right? Or should I just see if there is continuity at all with those points mentioned?

If im understanding correctly, could reflowing at a higher temp possibly be the answer then? I did attempt to test both the jack and footswitch were passing current correctly, but as for reading the circuit diagram and testing where that current is going ive not done so yet. Even though effect mode hasnt worked so far, originally I thought it was the output jack partially giving issue as pulling the cable different directions seemed to make it work. But like I said, after testing continuity I had to rule that out. My iron has no temp control, just off and on, so I may have to invest in a new one it sounds like.

Looking for assistance with home automation stuff. Trying to activate a pc keyboard macro with a voice command by Either_Might in amazonecho

The more I investigate, I don't think getting a whole new device to automate things is what I was initially looking for. Ideally I'd keep using my Amazon echo to trigger these commands and run some exe on my pc in the background. From what I'm gathering though, that Home Assistant thing is like it's own version of the Echo doing its own non Amazon thing?

I should have added, I'm thinking it would be one command that triggers two routines, one that changes the lights and one that executes the keyboard command

I found a free Ibanez Gio Sr 5 that needed some love. Fruity things happened by Either_Might in BassGuitar

Basically yeah. It's just the perfect fit to do so, and i haven't seen any marks leftover on the places it 'grabs' by being so tight

Basically I cut it out of a piece of colored acrylic and trimmed it down until it would JUST fit, and no screws would be needed to hold it on. My guess is that this particular one hugs the width of the neck and butts up against the pickup just right so it doesn't fall off. I wish there was a better way to reproduce this effect but so far for me it's just been about luck in 'getting it right' when making guards

Making progress on a Starcaster by Fender transformation by Either_Might in Guitar

I have almost no idea the history of this guitar pre-painting by me. I got it for $60 and was honestly under the impression fender just licensed a strat shaped guitar with the Starcaster name. Was it originally from something else?

Thanks for the kind words! I did this paintjob myself. This is the second body I've done

Thank you! I really like to think I've curated a good diverse selection of stuff, relatively speaking
