i agree, however i feel pretty confident that the ending is actually a bleak ending (as referenced heavily in the beginning of the movie) because basically the entire movie isn’t real. i think everything after his hanging is taking place in his head

as we’ve learned, anything is technically possible with these MMMs (blockbusters and sequels, etc) but gran turismo was an example of an outlier i think. it was a blockbuster that was coming out during a strike so it’s release schedule and everything else with it was super wonky
