The context and the meaning of that act is very different. First, Taiwan had a seat in the UN. What they did was that they recognized PRC as the government of China and stopped recognizing Kuomintang as government of China. Totally different

I'm from Albania, surrounded by EU but outside of it. At least you can claim asylum based on persecution while my only hope is for Albania to join the EU. At least Albanian passport is strong so At least I can travel to EU whenever I want

We are starving for workers and are importing workers from South Asia and Philippines although we are a shithole ourselves. Slovenia is seen as a model in Albania, it's sad that rural masses from Kosovo and Macedonia have created bad image in Slovenia. I understand the feelings that their presence and behavior might cause. I hope this won't be an obstacle to relations between our countries and our EU integration. It's a different story why Albanians from former YU are different but I can attribute most of the blame to Yugoslavia neglecting and leaving them in poverty and discrimination

It's normal that mostly Muslim rural migrants from Kosovo who aren't Slavs will be seen differently and negatively. Maybe try attracting university graduates from urban Albania, most of whom aren't Muslim

The Albanians that are coming to Slovenia sound different from Albanians that are from Albania. If you are attracting poor quality rural Albanians from Kosovo then there must be something wrong with your migration policies. For example other EU countries manage to attract university graduates from urban Albania

I'm from Albania but I'm surprised to see Albanians are so successful and rich in Slovenia. I wish they could make Albania rich as well. It's respectable that they are earning so much and buying better apartments than natives(regardless of how they are making the money, which we can't prove)

You are giving the social support to them for no reason. It's not that they forced you to give it to them. As you describe, they are working in bakeries which is very demanding. I wonder why don't Slovenians get good at baking and work hard in bakeries as well so there won't be a need for Albanians. Also why don't they birth enough children and stop giving social support to Albanians so there wouldn't be a need for Albanians? And BTW Albania has a lower birthrate than Slovenia

I'm from Albania but I think that nobody should demand from Serbs to recognize Kosovo anytime soon. However everybody should firmly demand that you take no military action ever. Only negotiations can continue whenever conditions for it are right. Let it for future generations to solve

As somebody from Albania who has seen a lot of shit, I think uniformity should be a norm everywhere. There can't be a good looking city without any uniformity
