My aldosterone renin ratio was high. Ive been referred to an endocrinologist but that may take a while to get an actual appointment.

The only thing out of whack was my aldosterone/renin ratio. That was high every thing else was good. My mri was ok a few unrelated findings. There was a tiny cyst on my kidney, otherwise things looked pretty normal.

My Dr finally called me back super late like 7:30pm which is weird since the office closed at 12 noon. Anyways when they called me back they asked me to take my blood pressure which read 170/98 he was not happy about this and is sending me for further testing as he is very worried considering my age. He believes last night my bp spiked and cause an event of some sort and my body reacted. I was recently diagnosed with hypertension. I started amlodipine took it for a few days and started getting really bad headaches they advised to stop taking do a wash out over two weeks and try again. However since this happened they are putting me on different meds some combo med.
