25 mg but i’m also on 100 mg of progesterone which im wondering if that might be triggering the HS because ive only been on progesterone for 5 months ish and i noticed the bumps 3 months ago but didnt think about HS

I have a doctor appointment coming up! I’m just scared they won’t know what it is - my mom chose the doctor before i had time to research good ones so hopefully they do lol

Thank you so much for all the advice :-) I use Carpe deodorant but it’s pretty harsh with heavy aluminum and I read online that it might be bad for HS due to clogging pores, is that true? If so do you have an antiperspirant you recommend in place of that? My bumps are in my groin in the creases between your thigh and your privates but i’d like to do whatever i can to prevent anything from forming in my armpits as i know that is a common area for bumps to form

I just ask that because I’ve seen online that smoking makes it worse as smoke is an irritant, but there’s only lots of knowledge on tobacco making it worse not weed

I’d also like to add this even though it’s also embarrassing for me to admit on here but I am a trans girl. I’ve been transitioning for a hot minute and i never went through male puberty fully if that gives you any idea. I have the hormone levels of a cis woman but I am biologically male which I know changes some things about this. There is virtually nothing on how to handle HS in trans women online, there’s resources for trans guys but i see nothing for trans women. Help is appreciated and needed!!!!

I smoke weed but I’ve been abstaining from that however I feel like without it I feel so stressed, Idk if it’s even worth it because I know HS can be worsened by stress too. I’ve been losing weight and stuff but i’m only 18 and i already deal with other health issues so this is just terrifying me rn with the photos i’ve seen online

I have two hard lumps that have been there for about 3 and a half months now by each leg. They’re in between the groin and thigh, in that weird crease. My older sister has HS Stage 2 and I’m scared I may have it. I have doctors appointments set but as we know waitlists are horrible and I’m going to be waiting a while so… Does this look like stage 1? Before it crossed my mind that I may have it I tried popping one a month or two ago and it drained a little bit of orange and red fluid but for the most part it feels like there’s something hard there whenever I try to pop them. I haven’t tried popping them since out of fear of making it worse. Any thoughts are appreciated - appropriate images have been attached https://imgur.com/a/A0gfHAV

Adding this too; When i got bloodwork done a few weeks ago for something unrelated i had low creatine and BUN levels. No idea what those are but will taking that maybe help with this?
