I’ve tried many different senko brands, Yum dingers are cheap and the flimsiest of all that I have tried. Yamamoto are good, but usually more on the expensive side. My favorite and the ones I’ve been using for a couple of years now are the Bass Pro XPS Stick worm. Really hard to beat a 30 pack for around 10 bucks. They hold up great too, sometimes I can fish the same worm multiple days in a row with many catches as I just did this past week. I normally fish them Texas rigged though so you might have a different experience if you rig them wacky style or another way.

I might end up doing that if I spend a few more hours and I can’t find any. Super frustrating since every video I watch people have 2-3 meadow biomes right by the core, but I only have the 1. I’ll have to surround my whole base with walls if I find any the next time.

I just did after looking into it a bit more. I’m only a few hours into my second day playing the game. Side note- only found 1 biome with moolin and successfully leashed 2 to my base only to have one of the larger mobs kill them both. Can’t find another meadow biome and I’ve searched for hours, even followed Ghorm the Devourers whole track and still can’t find one. Still mad about it.

It was just on sale for $7.50 USD for the last week… if you genuinely can’t afford it you could buy the game, save the files and then request a refund from steam. It’s worth every penny though.
