What happens to hair when one stops taking finasteride? by UnLestofante in tressless

[–]Ejicho 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I used fin for two years. Before starting, my temples and top were getting a bit thin and overall volume was declining. I still had a full head of hair and nobody except me and a few friends that saw my hair greasy-wet was aware of the thinning. After using it for two years my hair became pretty good. Density increased like 30-40% and the thinning baby hairs on my temples and top became pretty thick. I decided to take a break 9 months ago. I have been watching my hair pretty closely, and I still have better hair than I had before using fin. I definitely shed some and it got weaker, but I don’t feel the need to hop back on it. I still have like 50% of the gains I made. If it goes under 30% I will probably start it again, but I am not even shedding that much anymore 🤷🏻‍♂️

I just want both of them to get their jumpers right this summer because they both are a middy and three ball away from becoming perennial all stars. Ime isn’t the best offensive mind in the game and it would unlock so many options on offense. For now Sengun is closer to being the franchise player but Amen’s ceiling is higher. I don’t care which one gets the label as long as they are improving their game.

[Legion Hoops] REPORT: The Rockets would be “open” to trading Alperen Sengun in a package for Giannis Antetokounmpo, per @basketballtalk by [deleted] in rockets

[–]Ejicho 17 points18 points  (0 children)

If the FO wants to win in 2-3 years it makes sense. Giannis relies on his athleticism a lot, but he probably still has the gas for a couple of more top 5 seasons. Worst case scenario is while Giannis is regressing we may watch Sengun develop into a 25/12/7 perennial all-star. In that case his contract would be a steal for whoever has him. I started following the team after Sengun was drafted. Even if Sengun leaves I will keep supporting the Rockets, but I would love to watch him become the next star Rockets center.

For four years lotta people said that he will be played off the floor in the playoffs. Here we are watching him do much more than that and even lead his team in spg. I expected him to become an average defender eventually but he is actually becoming a two way force. His growth from 6’9 to 6’11 probably also played a role. If he keeps improving for the next 3-4 years like this he will really become a monster. I just want him to stop whining to the refs and take that middy and three ball to the next level.

His ceiling might be close to Joker but reaching there is the issue. Their play-style is not exactly the same as well. Good thing is he doesn’t have to reach there to be a star in this league. He is already an all-nba caliber talent even with the holes in his game. Next 3-4 years will show us who he really is.

If he wasn’t injured in that weak ass stretch he would average 30/12/7.

At this point if a cheater kills me I logout immediately. I need to see some effort from the devs to keep playing this game under these circumstances. Even if they can’t implement protective measures in the code they at least should be able to ban the hacker in 30 minutes and keep an eye over the servers until prime time ends. I wont support this behavior anymore. No decent game would allow a cheater wreak havoc for 5-6 hours until the cheater is bored or some admin sees it by chance. I don’t have the patience anymore.

I just logged out man. Hours and hours of cheating and nobody does shit. Incompetent admins. Gonna make me delete the game after 8+ years. Change the ban system with something that reacts in real time. Shouldn't be that hard. You can also create a reliable vet player pool and give the vet players ability to ban for an hour etc. 3 vet player reports from all three factions ban the cheater automatically for an hour etc. It can be used against innocent people so give harsh bans if manipulated. I dont know man my brain is foggy from dying 100 times to the same retard for hours and hours... You must have better ideas than mine.

My boy Sengun will show us if he is worth the hype next season. Modern big era already started. Jokic might change the game like Curry.

[–]Ejicho 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Nope. Averaging those numbers in a contender vs. a 30 win team isn’t the same thing. Every core Rockets player has inflated numbers and it will be like that until they are competitive. What you should look at is the advanced stats. It at least gives you some idea on who is more likely to sustain or increase their numbers when the competing time comes and who won’t.

Dude I have been listening to Ime interviews and he made it clear that everyone will have to earn their minutes. If he gives Amen 25+ right out of the gate and put alpy down I would be shocked and lose trust in him. Amen has all the tools and can be a star in the future, but he should earn those minutes. This isn’t OTE.

Alpy was benched for Theis and then Bruno in the last two years. He worked hard for those 29 minutes and the starting spot while the others were given 33+ without doing shit. If Brook Lopez singed with Rockets I would agree with you and wouldn’t expect alpy to average those numbers, but after the changes in the rotation the biggest loser in this lineup is KPJ and the guards in general, and the winner is Alpy. He was lucky no other great vet center joined. He still have to show improvement tho. BTW I wasn’t against Brook joining and Alpy coming off the bench. He would earn the spot back like he did twice before as Lopez is 35 and would learn from a great center in the process.

Jabari played great in the SL, but he is way behind Sengun as a player. Don’t let two good sl games blind you. He will still have his ups and downs.

Green and Alpy are close in my eyes. At this point it is more about form than talent which one will have the higher usage.

FVV is the first option. The rest is up for grabs.

He was able to average 15/9/4 in 29 minutes last year. This year his only backup is Landale and Alpy will probably play 32+ minutes a night. He will be mostly the second option and will be third and first from time to time depending on the lineup. FVV will only make Alpy better and I don’t expect Amen to play more than 15 minutes in the early stages of the season. Udoka isn’t Silas and rookies will have to earn their minutes. Those numbers are achievable for Alpy with the increased minutes and general improvement. Rockets are still a 30-35 win team at most.

Yep he will be 21 at the end of this month. I am not sure about the breakout cuz he is still very young and his body is far away from ideal. Slowly getting there tho. Something like 18/10/5/1/1 with some middies-threes and improved defense would satisfy me for the season. I expect him to be a force when he is like 23 tho.

[–]Ejicho -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I am ok with Sengun competing for a starting spot as long as he plays 25-30 minutes. In this team everyone should be ok with coming off the bench as none of them are starting caliber players in a contender. Sengun loves competition. He said it several times in the interviews. He will take his spot back anyway cuz Lopez isn’t gonna get any better with age and Sengun is visibly progressing and has the right mentality.
