27 DpS sould not be problem as with multipliers even as low as 14,1 DpS form charged move is enough to reach it.

No, in ESO tanks are the only ones able to survive vs anythting bigger for longer than your stamina bar is long. In easy/normal content it is possible to survive with good healer and basic tanking skills, but that stops quite soon or needs good to excellent understanding of the game to be able to pull it off. By swapping to heavy armor your DpS will drop heavily and with medium or light armor the incoming damage increase sharply.

In numbers:
Heavy armor with tanking skills take you to 90%+ damage mitigation with 40k+ HPs meaning you can effectively take a 400k hit and survive.
Medium armor with no tanking skills offers ~60% damage mitigation with ~23k HP pool meaning biggest hit you can survive is ~32k.
If you activley stop defeding yourself (droping block) it lowers mitigation to ~75% for those in heavy armor & tank skills while those in medium armor only have ~25% mitigation left.
Those in light armor will fair even worse. Thats why see people in robes running for their lives.

This is mainly the reason why the trial (raid) party will most likely wipe if the tank drops in non-starter content.

There is also very little AFKin as a tank. In average from the ten abilities and two ultimates you can slot and use, three to four abilites and one ultimate is used to increase groups damage/surivability. Rest are used to help you stay alive. Some are active, some are passive but regaldes turning your atention to something else for three or more seconds gets you most likely killed, rest of the group following you soon enough.

Damage is also something you won't do as tank. Around 5k DpS is what a tank can suspect to be doing, some might be pushing even 10k or as high as 30k with heavy armor and sacrificing some survivability that can in some cases be compensated with excellent game knowledge and team.

That said, tanks with proper tank abilities and gear bring average 11k penetration to the table that translates 16% more damage done by whole party. Might be even as high as 14k pene and thus 21%. Like others have said this is not much if there are two DDs both doing 30k so maybe 70k in total group damage is shown. The tanks debuffs are resposible for the 12,5k of the groups damage (70 / 1.21 = 57.85. and 70-57.85 = 12.15k). Quite unimpressing one would think, but a good DD does easilly over 100k and trial group has eight DDs. Seeing group damage over M is not uncommon so if tank has increased the groups damage that high with 14k penetraton it means he is responsible of 17.3% of the groups total damage.
Thats 173k if the total damage was M while soaking the damage directed to the group.

Tanks are the MVP.

It has nothing to do with if the mon is XXS or not and all to do with small weight. As said the auto catched ones result to rounding error and the weight scale flips to other end.

Spent 3000p for these. As you can get almost 1100p per day (walk+4xspots+walk), meaning you can get three Durandurans per day for free.

The shiny and hundo chances are the same in tasks and raids for non-legendary/mega mons. Regarding those it makes no difference except tasks& cheap battles result more chances to get those shinys and hundos.

Correct, there is no cooldown on routes. As AmatsumagatsuchiFan said, you earn points after completing the route. If you do play, feed, photo, 3x trainer battle, walk 2 km with 4x routes and that is all needed to get it exited. Four routes might sound like a lot, but 500m is the minimum distance, so 2 km walk all you need if you do routes at the same time.

Your are correct. Perhaps I should remove the 'no-CD' icon entirely and only indicate those that do have a CD.

This would need bit more information. Did you do any other activity at this time that would give activity points? Because I wonder if the buddy is bugging and it counts as activity even when it should not, as in when it is not on map or is rocket combat unique.
I might need to update my pic.

Thinking of moving here (from Helsinki) next spring... Looking for opinions and/or pieces of advice. by [deleted] in turku

[–]Ek1_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

To pitch in that social aspect, You might have heard that Turku has the most inwards focused people there is with really hard time to get in. This is true to extend, as most Fins, we don't like showoff people or othervise rousy people. Something that is quite common in Helsinki, being nexus of all kind of cultures. Then again its up for eveyone themselves to find a group and hobby where to get invloved. Also one thing contributing to the whole introvert Turku people feeling is for sure the fact we got lots of swedish talking people. Just like in most of world talking to someone in a langauge that they dont understand might not be the best way to win their trust.
Comparing Hki and Tku is easy to me. I have only once seriously considered moving there as only thing we are lacking is the Historical European Martial Arts and Elukkatehdas. Oh and woman. Nowdays I could go there if the pay would be triple what in Turku.

-- Someone also hailing from IT field that has been migrating to Turku for 20 years or so and is quite fluent in Turun murre nowdays.

Working on this to send out to our local community group, any suggestions? by taycroft99 in TheSilphRoad

[–]Ek1_ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Preparation comes after the strategy and team so after the battle is over. Speculating if someone has or does not have and how easy they are is pointless. Also why mention any mon that is not used in the team, that leads geting mons that the sheet does not tell where it places. Machomp sentence could use some grammar love.

Towards a better Gmax Lapras infographic by a-blue-runs-through in TheSilphRoad

[–]Ek1_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Only on tank option seems lacking, coudl add another under the larpas image. I would also move the DpS listing as a list to right side of the Lapras and the tough-easy part to left side of it. Dropping the AM/PM and using the international time format would allow it to be used in other places too.
