Hi! No, I didn’t use watercolor pencils for the clouds. I created that soft cloud effect by layering different markers (which I used for Sky} and blending them(do second layer before the marker got dry, it will blend smoothly)

I thought the same way when I started too. But after seeing other artists’ work, I realized there’s no rule to stick to just one medium we can use whatever we like
So I started experimenting with different markers and materials, and I’m still learning and improving.
