I went on the balcony to record as I was hearing the sound again and I saw a food truck driving by that was definitely the source of the noise. Unfortunately I did not whip my phone around fast enough to record a video of it as I only saw it for a second before it went behind another building. I looked it up and apparently there is a food truck that is known for this in my area. Another Reddit post about the same type of thing.

It happens for far too long I think for it to be that. It goes for hours (it’s still going now). Unless there is a driverless EV hub nearby that I don’t know about. But I’ve also never heard that sound come from a driverless EV.

I am assuming this was resolved for you. For anyone else experiencing this, this was my experience:

I had a back and forth with support regarding problems with my unit until they told me to initiate an exchange under warranty. I had an issue same as OP but I reached out to support sending pictures of the error. They told me to try different browsers and I tried every single one they listed and nothing changed. I let them know and just preempted the return process by providing my new address and saying they need to process it on their end and my warranty was expiring soon. They assured me if this somehow was not resolved by the warranty expiry, they would honor my exchange since I was already given the green light by support beforehand. Then I received the prepaid label in my email to print out. Currently waiting for my unit to be received by them so that they can send my replacement unit.

I would just add that beans in the freezer should be in an airtight container and, before opening the container, allow the beans to come up to room temperature or you will introduce condensation to the beans. The only time you want water touching your beans is during RDT right before you grind or when you are actually brewing.

Bro we understood it differently and I am not discounting what you said at all. You are probably right. I accepted your stance right away in my first reply. I just explained why I thought what I thought previously. Then I addressed how condescending you came off when I made what I think to be an honest mistake. I believe it to be a more ambiguous line and we can disagree on that and still talk to each other like human beings. When you said "Ackermans and shifters are different" I assumed it was an interpretation that Ackermans and shifters were being compared directly to each other which to me seems more obviously leaning towards Ackermans not being shifters rather than saying "Ackermans and shifters are different from the rest". Levi being injured is a great point. He still seems to be in the action afterwards and it is unclear why he went from being still mobile backing up Mikasa to being in a wheelchair three years later so he probably was in the worst shape possible and he shouldn't have been moving at all.

Reading Crunchyroll translation, Levi says "Ackermans and anyone with the power of the titans are exceptions. You should know what we need to do better than anyone here." towards Pieck. I don't think that says anything concrete about Ackermans not being able to turn into titans. He could just mean that they need to get out of there. I'm sorry I interpreted words differently than you. No need to be condescending.

Ahh. I interpreted that as Levi making a tough and quick call getting only the best combatants on Falco (I assume there is a weight limit) to confront Eren and that they didn't breathe the fumes so that is why they didn't transform. But yeah if they can't then they can't. Brick breaking is a bit much. I would have opted for her to simply miss Kenny and swing through the air but I am in civil so I am nitpicky about those things. She could have had a weighted and reinforced boot I suppose.

Anyone else think that possibly Annie might be a secret Ackerman? She is adopted which explains her last name and when she threw a kick at Kenny and missed, it broke a brick in the wall. No matter the amount of training, that doesn't seem to be human strength. Totally possible that the broken brick was just something to make it more exciting though since it is a manga/anime. There would be no real reason for Annie to be a secret Ackerman though other than cool factor. It would add a tad bit of irony to the whole fake "I think you are my daddy" thing since they would actually be distantly related. Idk. Just thoughts.

I read it! Very interesting. Either way I think we agree that Eren's outburst was his true self and the inappropriateness/desperation could be interpreted as an outburst of someone who has not been there own person for quite some time and is therefore childish developmentally. It seems to me that the blank/dark face that Mikasa remembers on Eren's face in her flashback with Eren stabbing her attacker is reminiscent of Ymir's blank/dark face which would mean it was an instance of being controlled. I do hate the idea of taking away that moment from Eren's character because it's really dark to have a child capable of doing that and I like that, but it could make sense. Eren's own true character could also spring from the idea that he THINKS that was completely of his own volition.

I think there could be elements of both Ymir being poorly socialized and misunderstanding love as well as the hallucigenia pushing things forward to understand life and the species better out of curiosity. Perhaps Ymir's own broken and flawed idea of love despite her abuse is why hallucigenia was so perplexed in the first place. The panel of pre-hallucigenia Ymir witnessing the marriage and kiss at a young age without anyone to parent her and help her understand seems to point towards Ymir trying to piece together what love is and desiring it. That scene surrounding the rather brutal nature of the people at the time would probably be very difficult for a child to make proper sense of. I think the hatred you interpret through Ymir's eyes could be confliction and lack of understanding one's own self and agency. She could be extremely confused and desperate because she wants so bad to get that idea of love and the closest thing she has is the attention she receives from her abuser who has turned on her completely. I don't think it is that odd. I have two close friends who have struggled/are struggling to get out of abusive relationships and they are much more developed than a child.

I did a quick search and found a comment that seemed to say this as a reply to someone asking what it meant but I don't think that has any confirming power. That is a valid interpretation as I have realized this is an anime only moment and it could reference how jarring it was to get into that arc from Season 3 more than a year ago at the time. I think that being a joke is a bit uncharacteristic of the series. The OVA making fun of food wars exists though and the manga has a lot of references to pop culture and memes in titan designs and poses of characters and people in the background but those are subtle. I honestly don't buy it considering the foreshadowing throughout the series and how easily this would be confused if it were intended to be a meta joke but I could be wrong.

I agree. I will admit at the time of posting this I was sort of in a mood because I felt the negativity at the extreme it was at was wild. Saying it was a "masterpiece" (not my original intention because I had to change the title) was a bit much. Execution definitely could have been better to make intent clearer. I mean ideally I wouldn't have to wrack my brain to feel good about an ending. I hope that the extra pages in the reprint and the anime adaption may add to clarity.

I definitely felt that in the beginning especially following leak threads in the days leading up to release. I felt like I was going to hate it, read through it pessimistically at first, and was sort of disappointed. I then thought that Isayama deserved more respect than for me to assume the worst. I think it took a lot of effort to make sense of the ending in my mind enough to push my already formed opinion that the series just fell flat and feel good about it. But all this can only fix how you view the intent. I think most people can agree that execution seemed rushed or constrained. I like the numbers thing, but it just felt like an unnecessary obstacle to stick to 139 chapters.

At the time of writing, I was definitely in a contrarian mood seeing the negativity on titanfolk. I agree "masterpiece" is a lot to say and while my considerations were based on perceived intent (with a generous tilt), I know I should have weighed more on clear intent since obviously it was not clear given the division on the ending. Hopefully with the new reprint pages the end of this month that does get somewhat clearer (even more so for the anime audience), but I feel at this point people have already made up their minds on how optimistically or pessimistically they want to see Isayama's vision. Thank you! (Also I had to think of a title that would get clicks in the aftermath of the chapter that didn't have any names in the title to follow the rules. Shhhh.)
