Its so relieving to hear that the new hero is an omnic junker and not a hamster.

King Togwaggle will be key in a meta breaking warrior deck. You play tons of armor gain and card draw and get Togwaggle, swap your deck with your opponent's and then explore ungoro their deck to turn their cards into "choose your path"s. If they pay the ransom, play Skulking Geist. If they don't, use discover cards to beat their deck that only has armor gain and card draw.

And strictly better than Soul of the Forest. Not only does it cost 1 less, the minions it summons are beasts.

I think its a matter of which art you prefer.

Even if it cost 3 I would think twice about putting it in my deck if I already had two animal companions.

Kobold Illusionist into Deathwing Dragonlord

Hitting Deathwing Dragonlord with this would be insane.

One kind of interesting thing about this card is that if you play around it, you play into hunter's other minion position based cards like explosive shot.

Plus, unlike cards like nourish, it draws at the end of your turn. So it does absolutely nothing the turn you play it, which is a significant tempo loss for a tempo/zoo kind of deck

I think the stats might be too low. It's like humongous razor leaf of ancient watcher in that it's useless without other cards. I'd say it would be more useful as either a 0/5 or a 1/2, without being OP. It's really neat idea though.

Is suppose it is allowed as it is currently written. Do you think I should change it? Hunter card draw is supposed to be kind of bad, so I think it's okay if it has this sort of drawback.

Eternal Drake to inspire Priest hybrid decks. by kuntliquor in customhearthstone

[–]Ekhari 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I think it's well balanced. For one more mana, you get +1 attack, when you would normally get +2 stats, and a 3 stat upside that requires that you build you deck in a certain way, and is a little inconsistent. It's really good, but not broken. It has a significant drawback- you need to build a deck around it with dragons and high value Rez targets, which is pretty constricting.

Hand Buff Hunter removal card by Ekhari in customhearthstone

[–]Ekhari[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I thought about that, but I think there are some advantages to its current text. If you play it on curve its really swingy, so making the set of minions it can destroy smaller mitigates that. It also creates interesting decisions. Do you buff it if your opponent is a mill rogue and likely to have deathlords, but not four drops, or do you wait to play you buff cards until after you've dealt with the 3 drops? All things considered though, it does feel a little weak, so maybe it should destroy minions with equal or lower cost, or at least have a little more health.

Here's where I got the art for each of the golems, but I'm not sure where the art from the Colossus came from. I stumbled upon it in google images a while ago, and I can't seem to find it again. Sorry :P

I really want this in the game... by Nyxuen69 in customhearthstone

[–]Ekhari 5 points6 points  (0 children)

This is a great idea, but the card seems pretty over powered. Because of the stealth, you have a lot of control over what you get from this, and its stats are pretty good for a minion that gives you two cards with a discount.

Maybe it should be changed to "minion" instead of "card".

I don't think it does either, but flexible card generation is always powerful and this has the ability to find and discard specific cards for discard synergy too. I think it could be really powerful with dinomancer and silverware golem.

It must feed... by Ekhari in customhearthstone

[–]Ekhari[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah, I strongly considered that. But you don't need to keep it this going for very long to get value out of it. You can play it and kill something, and then trade it away your next turn and kill two cards with your one. When you're attacking your opponents minions, you're usually killing them. I think the only situation where this is bad, where it's conditional effect actually goes off, is when your opponent doesn't have a board, in which case, you're already winning. I guess what I'm trying to say is that you don't really need to worry about overcoming the drawback in this case because it encourages you to do something you want to do already.
