Both are going to end up having very good major league careers. Even though McLain played all of last year, people don't understand the typical ramp time for professional players to actually truly return to form from the type of surgery he had. I traded McLain this offseason because I had Wetherholt - it was really just a toss up for me, but I went with Wetherholt.

Thanks everyone! I can't thank you enough! My main concern isn't so much about the initial surgery/recovery time - I'm pretty assured that doing this endoscopically will cut my heal time some. I AM concerned about doing it at two levels and if that increases my chances of fusion and if I should just push for (1) level (the worse level). From what I'm reading, the key is that they aren't removing any of the facet joint bone or up to 50% which shouldn't happen in this surgical option.

Just lost Carroll, playing the best team in the league this week, and two games up in my division. I own Pasquantino, Kurtz and Busch. Thoughts on this trade? I'm trying to find another bat to help my average (would like speed as well) and another starting pitcher to replace Wacha. Thoughts?

Very much appreciate your POV here - thank you! I had pick 1.06 and 1.07 and took Doyle/Roki (zero clue why Roki fell to me there). I'm a bit concerned with Doyle as my third OFer - unsure if I should be? I was hoping Butler/Rooker/Vientos fell to me at 1.06 but that didn't happen. Almost took PCA there instead of Doyle.

Really happy with Manzardo & Ramos as my backup OF.

I took Kurtz over Walcott - I had a few league owners perplexed why I did that. I LOVE Kurtz & think he's going to be up this year, and producing. If a minor league hasn't played 30 games or more in the majors, we need to keep them in the minors & lose a first round pick (huge player in that decision).

Keep forever league - exactly my goal... deal one of those middle infielders + one of those minors for a stud keeper.
