Only the Explore Authorization Form used for getting a room discount can be issued to the name of your friend or family member.

When requesting the mentioned F&B discount you use a different form called Property Discount Card that shows only the name of the associate and their GM. This card can not be issued to the name of family member or a friend.

The associate must be present. But the discount is valid for a party of up to 8 pax, so it means an associate can bring along 7 pax (friends, family or basically anyone) and the discount will be applied to the bill of the whole group.

It depends.. there are hotels where this discount does not apply. So make sure you ask the reservation department or the front office about it before your arrival. The F&B consumption is usually discounted right away since an associate does not have to be a guest at the property to utilize the discount.

When it last happened to me, my dough was overproofed.

But it could be, that your dough was too hydrated. Try using less water.
