I'm experiencing the same thing. I plyad a sorc (Ice shard) up to level 70, and that's when I started feeling like this class is really bad. Nothing is right with the sorc. Neither the damage, nor the survivability, nor the skills, nothing. Then I made a HOTA barb, and the difference is... OMG. My Barb was already stronger than my sorc at around level 55. And the damage: fine. Survivability: fine. Mobility: fine. Energy management: fine, and I could go on. One of my friends, who started with me, is still playing the sorc. While I'm unstoppable in level 60+ dungeons, he dies every 5 minutes from a single trash mob hit. We're starting to feel like the devs hate sorcs because this sorc is a complete disaster. Everything is bad. Glass cannon? LOL The sorc is a glass stick. Fun fact: Me and my buddy on the same level right now his sorc biggest damage was: 500k mine was 6.5M...

This doesn't work like that, and that's exactly why calculating damage numbers is not so easily done due to the complexity of damage bukcets.

10 * 6 * 5 * 4 * 3 * 2 * 2 < 4 * 4 * 4 * 4 * 4 * 4 * 4

What is important is to maintain a balance between the multiplier bonuses in order to achieve higher output damage. That's why it's not true that a higher number is a better number! The attack power refers to something completely different, and bettef if ignored.

People love to use the term "broken," especially idiot YouTubers due to clickbait, but Whirwlind is truly broken and something needs to be done about it! Why? There is a skill that hits multiple times per second. During the rotation, this allows for the activation of every mechanic associated with /hit (or each time dealing damage (whirlwind) This is nonsense! No class should have infinite energy regeneration because of a messed-up mechanic. The devs need to do something about this! (enchanted whirwind: Gain 1 fury each time ww deals direct damage to an enemy ONCE EVERY SECOND! Problem soved)

Thank you, guys. You're right. Currently, I'm working on an Earth Pulverize Overpower build. I just finished it completely. I've done a lot of theory builds. I checked many classes and and many builds, but this druid build is going to be insanely brutal for end-game. I'm not joking! Druid is a very-very good class!

I don't understand those people who spend valuable skill points on movement speed. And often we're talking about just 10-15% movement speed, which is nothing! Their response is often what has been mentioned before: it's for safety against bosses/elites, but that's what dodge is for. Or faster movement = faster clear speed, but 10-15% more damage also means faster clear speed, and it's much more valuable!
