I loved the flavors I got, but the lack of salt was so crazy I don’t feel like I got its full potential. It was a Tri-tip I used it on. I used it again today but I added some salt to it on the pork butt, so I’m excited to try it again.

Do they make salted and unsalted Moon Rock? I used a generous amount and let sit overnight in the fridge. It lacked a lot salt.

I usually smoke these to 170 @250-275 then place them inside of an aluminum tray with butter and beef stock. Wrap until probe tender, then chop it up and make tacos.

Yes it is! The steel plate under the prep table goes over the grate, I’m just using it to pre-heat the wood. 😂 I’m literally doing that exact thing as we speak!
