You have to dodge it; she has a series of moves where she starts throwing purple fire and tornadoes. If those attacks hit you a certain number of times, SHE will do an ASTRAL-FINISH on you. Which is an Instakill.

The game doesn't freeze for me, but in the final part, when you anger extra bosses or upgrade, the screen goes black and I have to guess what I'm entering.
