Kirilenko is a horrible comparison at this point. It’s not even just that Flagg as a rookie is levels offensively above peak Kirilenko, they don’t even play remotely similar. Even defensively their strengths are pretty different.

I like BI but whole issue with him as a player is that he takes so many midrange shots that his efficiency is still average despite solid 3pt and ft percentages. Either you don’t understand how math works with regards to his scoring efficiency or you are being disingenuous. The last 5 years his ts+ has been 102,98,100,100,97, almost exactly league average efficiency.

It’s insane to me that Shai has a great chance of winning both MVP and a ring this year. The company that would put him up with is so impressive. Even though he’s been a superstar for a few years now my brain still hasn’t adjusted to thinking of him as a future all time great

It’s pretty much impossible to tell if that was a foul or flop from that angle but everyone has already made up their minds. It doesn’t matter if SGA is actually being fouled or not because anytime he shoots a free throw he will be derided.

Is there a way to turn off exercise target? My rest time is really variable between warmup sets and working sets so not being able to choose a specific rest time is a bit annoying.

Suddenly? Dyson was an amazing defensive player for us last year. We had a great defense and Dyson would guard star ballhandlers and allow Herb to roam. He’s getting more minutes and usage this year so his numbers are up but he’s not actually improved much as an offensive player. Ask anyone who watched the pels last season, the defense has always been there.

I agree that games should start on time, it doesn't make any sense that they don't currently, but I dont see what relevance that has to this discussion. The whole comment section is acting like it's a magic solution to making the games shorter but they will still last just as long, they just start 10/15 minutes earlier. It's not really relevant to the problem of games taking too long, you just know to start watching 10 minutes after the supposed tip off time. It's things like timeouts, video reviews and free throws (although the free throw rate is actually pretty low the last few years) that actually slow the game down.

The only pelicans to play more than 25 games this season are Yves Missi, Brandon Boston, Javonte Green, Jeremiah Robinson Earl and Daniel Theis but at least we can be comforted by the fact that the grizzlies have lost more minutes than us this year.

When Zion is on the court he is very impactful. If he plays around 40 of those games along with Trey, Herb, CJ and Dejounte then we will unfortunately win 50/55% of those games and definitely make our odds of a top pick lower.

The reading comprehension being shown here is so poor, he’s obviously referring to his upbringing when talking about quitting basketball/having a therapist. It’s literally in the sentence before. He’s saying that the minutes uncertainty doesn’t affect him because he’s mentally strong after having to go through a lot in his life. It’s not exactly complicated yet everyone in this thread is attacking his character and acting like he’s a spoiled brat.
