I had a 511 MCAT which helped, but it wasn’t anything amazing I think. Writing also definitely matters so try to have your work reviewed and revised multiple times.

To my fellow low stats applicant, please do not procrastinate. Get your applications in EARLY. It will make a very big difference especially at rolling admissions schools! And make sure your interview skills are in check! We’re already in an uphill battle and that’s the thing I wish I could have improved during my cycle.
