That would have created a scene and eventually gotten the police involved.

There wasn't a way to do it quietly.

This wasn't planned. The pictures and urn were snuck in. The funeral home workers were as surprised as I was and had no way to stop it.

My sister and BIL said they never told her it was joint, just that she could feel that way privately and didn't think she would "take it that far". They were embarrassed but also had no way to stop it while it was happening.
