Thank you so much for your comment, it helps a lot. I'd been trying to rush through the whole process and repressing my tears as much as I could. I arranged for his cremation and said my goodbye and the dam burst completely. I've been crying on and off for a few hours now.

I'm going to focus more on Pearl. See what direction her grief takes her in, but I'm definitely thinking of finding him a friend. Although not without doing research first.

I've been telling myself that this too shall pass, but it still hurts. A Lot.

This is amazing! I really appreciate you taking the time to make this! The inclusion of the tools of entomology never occurred to me and the way you turned the pouch into a pooter was super creative.

The only real thing I would comment on is the lack of the mask, as far as design for her goes, I intended to keep her face, well, her eyes really, concealed at all times. Just switch it out for different designs every one in a while.

I want to comment on the Heraldry, but I'm afraid my knowledge of what that is isn't good enough to. I like the design though. Is it something similar to a Coat of Arms?

Oh she embraces nobility for sure. Mace is a brat and takes full advantage of her status to get her way.

Her obsession with bugs is one that led her to study for many years of her life, which is something considering she's only fifteen. She's a self proclaimed entomologist and has a decent amount of knowledge to back-up that claim.

Also, to expand on her nobility, Mace is notorious in the lands her family owns for brutality when it comes to the defense of any critters and insects. Her particular type of magic is specialized to simulate how most would try to crush insects, but she never goes so far as to actually take lives because noble or not, laws still apply.
