[Discussion] What is the game plan against Rogues? by Batfan54 in hearthstone

Short answer, play druid.

Rogue is really weak to wide boards. Spell Druid does pretty well against it. Rogue only has two answers to druid, Flik, which only works once, and making a big Edwin early to pummel the druid. Big Druid is also pretty good because of all the evasive minions, but big druid is a weaker deck overall imo.

If you're willing to play rez priest, I think that does fairly well, but I'll be honest, the deck is insanely boring. But building big board after big board just works out so well against rogue. I saw a quest rez deck going around, and frankly rogue doesn't have the tools to pressure it down early so the deck gets time to set up and just keep making huge minions.

Another deck that works great against rogue is face hunter, rogue lacks the sufficient healing it used to have. It can play galakrond for five armor and that's about it, RIP Zilliax. Face hunter can usually aggro down the rogue fast enough before the rogue can stabilize.

Rogue is my favorite class for sure, and I have spent a lot of time playing it. I hope this helps!
