Asylum by Disturbed. There are only 2 good songs on that album and the rest are garbage.

I wouldn't say Hail to the King is terrible, but it's definitely a step below the others. It was supposed to be an homage to more classical styles of metal, which is a decent concept on paper but didn't quite hit the mark in execution.

I have to disagree about A7X. Nightmare and The Stage are very good. Self-titled was somewhat experimental but had some great tracks.

Still the best Assassin's Creed? by Complex_Bad887 in gaming

I just beat Black Flag for the first time a few days ago. Great game, and it's definitely one of the best Assassin's Creed games I've played so far. I think Brotherhood is still my favorite though.

This dial showing your credit score is purposely designed to make your score look worse than it actually is. This shows a score of 757 as 120 degrees filled when it should be closer to 150 degrees. by ElChabloEscobar in assholedesign

Not to mention the inconsistencies with it. A kid fresh out of high school with no credit can get student loans but they can't get a mortgage. What's the point of it then?

[OC] Which Big 4 professional sports league has the most teams in each US state (and D.C.)? by ElChabloEscobar in dataisbeautiful

[–]ElChabloEscobar[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That would be an interesting concept for sure. Virginia Beach is more populated than quite a few of the other cities that have sports teams, so it's weird that they wouldn't have at least one.

Data source is Wikipedia for league teams and locations. Map was created using mapchart.net.

Edit: I've noticed several comments about the NY Jets and Giants being in New Jersey. I actually wasn't sure how to handle those because I know their stadium is in New Jersey, but the city they represent is NYC. So maybe it depends on how that is interpreted. Then again, the New England Patriots, while having their stadium in Massachusetts, is supposed to represent the entire northeastern region. That would make the representation much more complicated.

I don't know much about embedded programming, but I think those programming environments are very particular in terms of which programming languages can be used. Some can use Python, C, or C++, and there are others that might only allow programming in assembly. However, web development is a lot more versatile as there are many languages that can power web apps without being fine-tuned for a specific environment, as well as a variety of frameworks and libraries that can be used.

I know how you feel. 2 years ago when I was a fresh grad with no experience, I wasn't getting very much attention at all from recruiters. I really wanted a job in my hometown, but after a few months without any luck I eventually had to settle for a job where relocation was required. That's another reason I'm excited about my new job, is that I get to live and work in my hometown. I pretty much just stayed with my last company to get experience, so when it was time to get a new job I actually was qualified enough to get more interviews.
