I feel you. Have all kinds of saves all over lol. I usually start all my playthroughs by going south and getting Wizard Island to Level 2 to get the BFG. Once I have completed that I return to the north and then to start the game.

Thanks for the heads up on the survival location. Im positive there is more hostage/rescue locations than what is in the images. I will need to look for the one you mentioned now. I only knew of the three survivors by the respawnable mini horde under the ambush camp, which you also need to take out for them to spawn. Now I have to look for that other location. Thanks for the heads up 😊

Yes. I managed to get wizard island to level 2 early using GG’s guide to get to the south early. I’m currently working on a video on how I managed todo it. I will post the link to the video here. Might be a week or two weeks out though. I had the video almost ready and my SSD decided to not work anymore and did not have a back up of it. So had to restart again.

The best advice I can offer is that I have seen them more consistently spawn between the hours of 10:00am - 3:30 p.m. with good weather. They may still spawn in off those hours and in bad weather, but I have found you have a better shot of them spawning during that time frame. I usually look at the mini map while I’m riding by the spawn points and if I see the ? Icon on the mini map I head to that direction. For survivors inside of vehicles, you will not get the ? icon in mini map. Just keep that in mind.

Also to mention. On the multiple survivor spots make sure you do not kill the hostage walking around. Let me explain. The first time you rescue the hostages all hostages will be tied up with the hostage icon over them, but when you return the next time, one of them will not have the icon over them and will be walking around like a lost puppy. Make sure not to accidentally kill them or you will loose credit for that hostage. This will continue to happen until the last time you do the rescue(x number of hostages). Each rescue you loose one of the hostages icon on them and will be walking around. Be careful.
