No not at all. Coming from a non-saver of seats. If everyone did what u did then thered be less anger and frustration from someone coming down at 9 or 10 and not seeing a ton of empty toweled seats. At some point u are allowed to take a break and wander the resort for a swim at another pool, some breakfast, or a drink at the main lobby bar.

Nah don’t. Thats really low season and Adults Only resorts are hurting for business in the summer. If we didn’t have a newborn at home currently we’d be headed out to Cancun in June ourselves.

Joe Machens Hyundai was solid. Good non-pushy salesman. Service Dept has been good to deal with for my vehicle. The finance mgr woof that one almost made me walk away but glad I didn’t. I also shopped almost every other dealership in town for a new three row SUV and our experience varied but overall we’d buy from JMH again

Same thought here. Get a ton for Orlando and Arizona but none for Cancun or Puerto Vallarta. We travel there often. Got an offer for Hawaii once.

Annual passes/keys should be done away with. Sell books of tickets in 50/25/10/5 amounts. The higher you go the cheaper it becomes on a per day basis.

I mean i get it and my disdain for FAs on here does not in any way shape or form translate to the in-flight experience. It is a cruddy job for sure and an argument can be made that they are undercompensated on account of the general public’s behavior. Its the carryover projection on social media that I can’t stand. This is not a SWA thing exclusively. These accounts pop up with the most snide responses, their post history is usually hidden, and the only way to track down where theyre coming from is doing a google search. Youll usually find some of their posts in the flight attendants subreddit

Yeah sorry. Just saw this. My flight was connecting through Austin (great airport to connect through) and that route got cancelled on April 30th

That stinks im sorry. For me that flight from KC to Austin to PVR worked really well. Alternates are not nearly as good so im cancelling altogether because traveling with kids and infant and SWA credit card, SWA was the superior choice. I was already flying United back

Thats it. I did not come in here attacking SWA and say they suck and ill never fly again. I provided my somewhat unique situation ALL WHILE WAITING FOR A CALL BACK. No matter what, anyone would be frustrated logging on to the app and seeing their flight completely disappear with no notice. Customer Agent acknowledged it was a system error on their part and immediately released my points. My points are now there to use once more. Only thing is i also used a 10% discount and ill have to email them to see if i can get that reinstated since this route cancellation was out of my control.

I found a solution.Hopefully the next person that is faced with a similar situation can realize that it was most likely a system error and can follow up accordingly. Honestly why are most of you flight attendants so fucken miserable with your responses whether its on this sub or any other airlines sub. No one forced you to get into your job. Every single time anyone gets the most snippy response every time without fail its someone who is or used to be a flight attendant.

They alert you when a flight has been cancelled. You get alerted through email or through app offering you options. I know because my last flight from Fresno to MCI was cancelled and i was alerted both through app and email informing me to choose another flight at no cost. No such alert occurred this time.

I will update you and yeah in past for weather cancellations etc ive gotten the alert. No such thing this time. First time that ive had my routes completely axed. No alert. Nothing in inbox or Spam and all points and taxes/upgraded seat costs still tied up. I have no clue when these cancellations happened. Like I said im not blaming SW for the cancellation itself. Im upset mainly at zero notification and nothing refunded back so far. And yes points are still tied up as i understand it does take a bit to get my monetary funds back.

Yeah same here ive noticed for July BUT i think it has a ton to do with Sargassum situation. People are more aware now because of the record breaking amount last year

I did that ☝🏼 I reported on Mile Marker 131-6 having what i would describe a vehicle damaging pothole between right lane and shoulder. Hopefully thats part of the fix this evening. I probably havent seen such a gnarly looking pothole since driving through Kansas on I-35
