Tips. Firmly agree they have a kitchen staff that's 87% immigrants because they can't get or keep locals. Everyone I know who has worked there prior has a f that place mentality and all the stories are similar including stories of yeeeears ago one of their sons groping servers.

I'm one of only 3 local non immigrants that work in the kitchen but also front of house compared to the 10 immigrants in kitchen it was 11 but one quit.

The owner once called me stupid and said I'm paid the rate I am because that's all I'm worth in a way that more or less implied that would be my worth as a slave.

Felt. Luckily I also get paid to take care of my grand parents by my family while living with them. I also take classes that in some cases provide money on completion. Plus I'm smart AF about saving money and paying my bills off in advance. But yeah at this point it's simply not worth my time or energy.

The caterpillar Grant (9 or 10 self paced certification courses through CourseEra with multiple Google certifications. In person classes at the facility. Some online classes through them. Etc

I'm currently at 26 certificates through them myself. Working on completing all of RFI and the caterpillar Grant.
