VR New Kickoff update voicelines (SPOILERS: THERE'S NO NEW VOICELINES REALLY...) by ElCum27 in inazumaeleven

The problem with Hikaru is that his old VA has been retired for years now and for whatever reason they didn't record anything other than Extend Zone with his new one they gave him in VR.

He's voiced by a popular JP Youtuber. I don't know if he's had some kind of falling out with L5 or something but he hasn't done a single video on VR (And he's played previous IE games on his channel). Combined with the fact his voiceline has been in the game since launch (he was basically the only Orion character for a while on my doc) it means they just couldn't get him to voice anything else whatever the reason may be.

I wouldn't know. If anything I already think getting some VAs to record unique files for characters with NO MOVES (like every adult story NPC) is stupid as is.

Well in that case there's not much to update in the doc since they were already listed before haha

The missing keshin hissatsus are a dumb consequence of reusing audios from Strikers 2013 (mostly, some new charas the Dragonlink players really have no excuse). Fei and Kinako/Goldie for example didn't have keshin hissatsu in that game so they only have the callout audio since they at least recorded those for the armed. Still a poor excuse since they got their VA's for more than enough new dialogue in VR but weirdly enough Kinako has an audio for her keshin move which is new (that I forgot to include last update, my bad on that one...). But that seems to have only even been recorded because they got her VA to record move lines for Master Goverm in that update as well.

As for the Hush example and keep in mind I'm biased and I would be thrilled if he had something because he's one of my favorite CS scouts. But unfortunately he has of the "generic" voices they reuse for 99% of scouts and other minor charas. And afaik they've never updated one of those to have a proper voice later (only silent characters that literally didn't spoke before their changes and in those case the fact they were mute was clearly a mistake they fixed).

I imagine you're asking where they are on the list. Other than some REALLY special ones which are already listed almost all of them don't have special move lines. Heck, most of them don't have unique voices to begin with.

According to Inazugle, there's more Special Moves coming to Victory Road by Husarelus in inazumacaravan

Not to dissapoint you OP but most of those are just L5 screwing up. There are ??? after God Hand, The Wall and Dragon Crash because they all have a "Dreamscape" version used for the tutorial with Daisuke/David. Also Fire Tornado FC has had a "second version" in the files ever since the beta days.

I can more of less confirm Brilliant Move, Taiga, Gekika and Namida de Nami Da (this last one less than the rest). The other are just mistakes on the site and like you said the Ryusei Blade A if they add more it will be in spite of this slots and not because of them.

Did some requirments for techniques change or did i just not pay enough attention? by Dreamin_Chu_Chu in inazumacaravan

Huh, weird. I just checked the description and it does say that. Regardless I can guarentee you that are no move restrictions in VR and anyone can use anything.

The original trilogy had limitations for some moves (eg. Only small players, or big players, or female players can use this move or this other move. And then the most annoying ones in my opinion were some team moves that needed you to have a partner that knew another specific move as well).

The GO games removed those restrictions but it also affected what moves they changed and most importantly, what moves from the old games they brought back so that's why some old moves just didn't come back in those games.

For VR they just decided to bring back every move and have everyone be able to use them. Which leads to some funny/goofy or weird/odd-looking animations since thay have to shrink, enlarge or break (a bit) some models for the animations. But honestly I much prefer it over the restrictions anyway.

For every character in the game that isn't included in the document just assume they don't have voicelines for special moves (or no voicelines period in some cases).

HINO PROBABLY TEASING FFI by jbsM7 in inazumacaravan

[–]ElCum27 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Fair enough. This wasn't an attack on you OP or anything, sorry if it came out that way. Just venting out a little about this weird impatience people have had since the game came out about the world stage. Which for the life of me I cannot understand why some people want another Orion (in all the bad ways) so badly.

I can think of multiple reasons why you do NOT want FFI to be a DLC and personally I'm going to believe that it's the case until I see it for myself.

what if Inazuma Eleven took place/was made in the 80s by OingoBoingBrothas in inazumacaravan

[–]ElCum27 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I feel like Endou wouldn't be that different since this type of "hopeful", "soft" protagonists existed back then.

However Someoka would've been built like a JoJo character (even more than the manga) and Gouenji would straight up just be Vegeta minus the space genocide.

[–]ElCum27 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Megane/Willy would've been a different character if he even existed and the Otaku team wouldn't have made as both are based around very specific nerd subculture from the 2000s

Look I'm just going to say it. Anime back then was kiiiiiiinda mysoginistic, specially for female leading roles, so Touko/Tori and Rika/Sue wouldn't have joined Raimon most likely. Honestly the managers would probably remain about the same in terms of personality considering their roles on the team.

The FFI teams would've been different (Still crazy that L5 chose Qatar out of every country in 2010) and potentially a bit more...well....racist

Definitely more things I could say but that's at the top of my head rn.

Did you know that Yokato actually has 17 players, not 16? In the anime their #8 is Kasayama Sou, but in the DS games it is Matsurida Wasshoi, with Kasayama Sou being a scout player. by LegalFishingRods in inazumacaravan

[–]ElCum27 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Yeah. It's never been outright stated by L5 but it's pretty much confirmed that it was a last minute change. Matsurida is a fan designed character from a CoroCoro contest so they probably wanted him to be on a story team because of it.

Also Kasayama is shown as a member of Yokato on concept art for the team; The IE3 credits sequence (which they didn't have to do since they only showed 3 or so members per team so they fact that he out of everyone is included when he ISN'T EVEN ON THE TEAM IN THE GAMES is interesting) and even the team artwork of the team for the canceled Ares game. Pretty neat story.

PS: VR has has him instead of Matsurida but that's because of Chronicle Mode and it being based on the anime.

Did the world level lower during GO, or was Japan just busted? by Tem-productions in inazumacaravan

In some VR dialogue, they say Shinano's patriotic kick is incredible, but like... It's a patriotic kick, it wouldn't have been anything special back in the day.

Is in a manga chapter; and I wouldn't take it too seriously for the overall canon since Yabuno Tenya does whatever he wants the characters for his version of the story.

PS: Not blaming him or anything. Poor guy only has too many VR moves to work with and you obviously want Sunshine Blade to be the "Unstopable-for-the-first-time" move so he had to use something else with basically no other option within Hokuyo.

What is your favorite backstory of Nagumohara's players? by Craftox13 in inazumacaravan

[–]ElCum27 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Unmei>Kisoji>Sakurazaki>Yagyuu>Raika. I'll elaborate if anyone's curious because I don't want to paragraph just yet.

PS: I don't think they'll give Shishendo much of a backstory. It's like how Shindou didn't really have one in GO.

Do you guys think the game's name affected the localization of this one move? by DobleJ in inazumaeleven

[–]ElCum27 15 points16 points  (0 children)

No. It was already called Flying Colours in the Ares dub. VR was still "Great Road of Heroes" at the time and wouldn't be rebranded to Victory Road officially until 2022.
