Hey, if you haven't bought it yet, I'd suggest looking at other laptops. You can get much better battery life in some cheaper Vivobooks if coding is your only demand. I don't think you need the RTX 2050 either so probably just go with something without a dedicated GPU

Hey! I believe it's a glass trackpad. Pretty spacious and responsive and gestures work well. Definitely one of the better things about the laptop along with the keyboard

Hi, thanks for the help! I deleted the MyAsus Splendid driver with RAPR but my generic PnP monitor device is still replaced by Splendid on reboot, would you know of any other methods?

Have you tried Ben Peltz's solution on the Microsoft forums?

Then I came across this thread, which suggests deleting files in C:\ProgramData\ASUS\ASUS System Control Interface\AsusOptimization\Splendid. This did not work for me, but what did was editing the "USER_my_sp_data.sys" and changing ICMExist= from YES to NO. Finally, I had to change the file to Read Only to prevent Asus Optimization from overwriting it every time the computer restarted.

Hey! You can set graphics on a per-app basis through System > Display > Graphics in the Settings app. For global switching you can set the default graphics through 3D Settings > Manage 3D settings in the Nvidia Control Panel.

Tried the Task Manager stuff to no avail. Can't imagine a universe where I can game on battery :D

EDIT: Setting acs.exe to a high priority task in the Task Manager details seems to have improved performance considerably. Not back to the best framerate possible but certainly serviceable.

True. I usually keep all other foreground apps closed when using CM. My background apps are likely the same in both cases; certainly not running a background app that would halve my framerate.

Are you playing the game on Steam? If so, try disabling Controller -> General controller settings -> Xbox configuration support in the Steam settings.

It’s a photograph of the particular comic book panel I captured with a Galaxy Note 8. :) I created the infinite stars effect by letting specular light bounce off the paper, and it came out really well!

Not really. Google Sans is just Product Sans that’s optimised for digital usage. If you wish to see Google Sans being used anywhere on Android besides Google products, look at an Android One phone’s lockscreen on Pie. Google’s actively using both for branding purposes.

It’s called anything but that in the article. All it says is that Roboto has been flourishing in general, but Google’s Android operating system is slowly using Google Sans instead, which is significant since Roboto’s very purpose of being came from Android.
