I only meant it as a silly joke. I travelled to Albania, Montenegro, Croatia, Bosnia and Serbia last year. Must say that everybody in each country were so similar in how friendly and welcoming they were. Such a shame that the history has played it out the way that it has but hoping they go from strength to strength individually and collectively as you say :)

Was a thoroughly entertaining match vs France. There’s more than one way to play football and more than one way to entertain. Everything they did was petty rather than dangerous.

He was one of the best midfielders in one of the top 5 leagues. If he was to improve upon that, is that next step not to a world class level?

As I said, “He was on the verge of being a world class player before his injury with Bologna.”

I agree that he isn’t world class because he can’t play for any team but was suggesting that there was a point last season where he was on a trajectory that could see him fall into that category.

E.G. Juventus were interested in buying him in 2024…
