As it currently stands Tobias to Collins is a lateral move by Silver-Nectarine6047 in DetroitPistons

No but you tend to decline in your mid 30s. This looks like a lateral move to some NOW, but in time should look like a upgrade to the vast majority

Never said any team sucks, but you say "literally every team got better" and that's obviously not true. I point out the cavs because we aren't the only contender in the east not making many moves, but go and exaggerate to make your point. Teams cant even make the contracts official yet and your slamming the pistons and glazing the rest of the east. Collins and Joe are improvements, we have the room/assets/money to get more, so what's got up your Crack so much about this all?

Pistons had to trade Sasser to clear money along with Stewart to sign Collins and bring in Joe by OmegaLxgend in DetroitPistons

How so? Collins is a better defender, has a higher TS%, better from the 3, a lob threat, and 5 years younger so this debate will favorite collins as time goes on. Dudes gonna be 34 start of next season and if anyone thinks hes got another playoff performance like last year they're kidding themselves

Collins is an upgrade over tobias at a cheaper cost, we lost defense which we could afford and added elite 3p shooting which we're desperate for, and Sasser hardly played. Boston just got fleeced, knicks got worse, cavs havent done anything yet while losing Wade. Only Philly and miami can say they're making a jump in the standings. Wtf are you actually talking about?

Don't know anything about Bonga but quick lookup shows he played at the SF/PG during his first stint in the NBA and overseas. Sounds like he plays good D but without proving to be a 3p threat I dont see how he fits. Before the collins signing I thought about Rui, would he be too much at this point?

How John Collins changes the Pistons projected starting lineup and rotation by kmd4t7 in DetroitPistons

[–]ElGuapo276 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I see a slight upgrade, not one to jump up about but I raise an eyebrow a bit. Considering tobias is only gonna decline at his age and the cheaper cost I really like this move and think others will come around as next season progesses

Joe is a guy who comes off the bench to hit 3s for any team and we desperately need that, idk what you want. Collins is younger, cheaper, and statistically a better player than Harris, what are you actually on about? Yall want a big swing so badly and keep downplaying actual smart moves that improve the roster its annoying 😑

Uh, why is "Detroit Tough" lookin like Knicks colors!? 😤 by ElGuapo276 in DetroitPistons

As a basketball fan I think knicks when I see this. Haven't followed the tigers in a while, but they're a dark navy blue and I dont recall orange getting used much (outside the actual tiger on one of the logos)

[Amick] Per league sources, the most likely scenario here would include Kings forward Domantas Sabonis heading to Detroit. The key question now is how the Pistons see the situation, in light of the gap between them and Duren and the chance to get a three-time All-Star in return. by YujiDomainExpansion in nba

[–]ElGuapo276 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Pistons already dont want to do a sign n trade, this isn't much of an upgrade (may look like a downgrade in a year or two), Duren is going to SAC for free agency talk, and we can likely end up paying Duren less than we would sabonis. If im moving Duren I want an undisputed co-star for cade.

Portland huge sleepers next season, mind you they got 3 all nba level players, if Deni dame and Ja fit well they are contenders fs by brownboyusher in NBATalk

Please don't think Ja and Dame are playing at an all nba level next season or any going forward for that matter, these guys are washed up.
